I wasn't expecting to learn this much from this course, It did open my eyes on how to properly mix instruments and how to master your track and as an amateur, hobbyist I've never thought that it has so many steps to follow. It also shown me how to organize your project and all the details that must be done before mixing stage. Even tho I am Flstudio user and I've never seen Ableton from inside before, I really recommend this course to anyone that want to learn about music making process! Worth it! :D

Thank you for this inspirational and comprehensible course! In addition to sound design and an introduction to synthesizers, arrangement, and project organization, I also learned the concepts of waveforms, frequencies, noise, distortion, EQs, compressors, and spectrograms and their importance in EDM music production. That was life-changing! I like the course track, too!

The course needs some paid products like Ableton Live Intro/Std/Suite and Sylenth 1 as it seems that sound design part of the course(1-4) was curated around these tools whereas it was mentioned otherwise at the course signup. I think its best done with the paid plugins, facing troubles with Ableton Lite and provided Helm presets. This is something I feel until now, mixing/mastering sure might be better. Another thing is that I felt few of the things could be repeated or simplified, like I tried going from section 3 to 5 as I don't have sylenth 1 plugin, so thought maybe it has to be skipped, but realized later that its not the case.

That was exactly what I was looking for! Mainly the logic behind mixing and mastering i want to learn in conjunction with a decent workflow and that is what you get. Why to use this tool before the other and what belongs to which part of the process. My DAW and synth is different but there was no problem at any point to follow and it is really good explained!

Maybe I did the selection at the start wrong but there are to much stuff covered again and again what I already know. Next to this there are really nice ideas and additions to what I wanted to learn in the first place. So far it extends the knowledge provided above the topic which I really like as one topic goes hand in hand with other topics.
