Mobile Automation: Appium Cucumber for Android&iOS + Jenkins (Udemy.com)

Overall, it's a very good course in which someone like me could benefit from using and understing a bit more from Cucumber and Appium and many other tools and commands. But, overall, mostly of what Alex teaches is now deprecated. Even the begginning of the course, in which he says to use specific versions of ruby / appium - this have been long gone deprecated. So, basically, every class I would need to debug or be creative with the step/code he provided, in which it didn't work anymore and I had to find a way of make it work. Had to learn how to install deprecated tools as well with Android Studios, create other commands during classes, basically a very course inside a course here... But I still recommended since it's the first time I have contact with those tools and knowledge. But the class needs some improvement. Also, something that Alex does a lot is create a step-by-step which you follow and do the same codes, and in next class you'll see he has updated the env.rb or some other without saying anything...

This course is a good choice for automation juniors. I had already experience with another framework CodeceptJS, had experience using it with both mobile and web testing so everything in regards of writing tests was easy for me (though I code on JS). But my problem is that I need more knowledge of mobile automation cause I had experience with it too long time ago so I've decided to get more familiar with Appium configurations and Jenkins configuration. This course is a nice guide for those who wants to understand better mobile automation on Cucumber BDD, configuring mobile simulator and Appium. The thing I wanted to be improved here is maybe giving knowledge or just text material how this can be alternatively configured on other popular languages (JS, Java, C# etc). Also didnt find info how to configure server for Jenkins on their side, not locally.

There are some areas where we feel stuck but there are already Q&A that are unanswered related to that. This can be improved. Though we google and get things, this can be covered to ensure the people taking this course gets benifited

Very straight forward step by step approach! I like the explanation for the google store app at the beginning of the course content gives good idea of what I will be working on.
