My name is Mitch Houston. I have been in the music industry for over 15 years.As a musician I havetraveled the worldand played in front of thousands of people. As a song writer I have written and produced hundreds of tracks and released multiple albums. And as an audio engineer I have worked on projects that have circumnavigated the globe, as well as small local singer songwriter eps. I have worked on million dollar recording consoles all the way down to two input audio interfaces and everything in between. I currently own and operate a broadcast studio and a production studio in the states. We are producing and releasingMULTIPLEHOURS of audio each week. I graduated from the Conservatory for Recording Arts and Sciences in 2014, and have owned and operated my own studios ever since. I am Professionally Certified Audio Engineer, and as stated above, I have worked on worldwide projects all the way down to young kids who are recording their first songs. I also have been certified in Smaart Audio Analysis software, as well as Pro Tools Certified. I was the head Audio Engineer at PDC Productions in Oklahoma, and the audio that I created was played all over the world in major conferences and events. I have made a very good living in the Music Industry.

I didn't plan on getting the second course I wanted the first and I can't figure out how to change it. That's the reason for my rating. I know it's probably a great course but it's to soon for me in the process.

It is a little bit elementary but it is interesting to watch his work flow.
There is too much time watching him play and listen to his song, and not enough time in the teaching. You can fast forward through much of the playing and and listening and still get all of the teaching material. All of that time would be better spent going into greater depth.

I loved that this course went in depth into the tracking and mixing process. The lessons were easy to follow and watching Mitch record, mix and master a song from start to finish made the learning process easier. I do feel that it gets a big draggy when, for example we're just watching him listen to the entire song as he adjusts the EQ, or when he records the instruments several times. But the easy fix to that is just to speed the videos up and you can still watch what he does and learn! Overall a very enjoyable and comprehensive course!
