Review from Sam: Revolutionary way to learn chord progression!
Already knew circle of 5ths when I first learned theory, but didn't know that it also can be used to chord progression for every key.
Rosa structured the whole course in such a detail where it takes you from a player who can't play without score to a player who can start playing simple songs by ear. But what is more important is that you can advance further from there by playing in different keys, exploring more advanced chords using her concept.
Even if you are an advanced player, I think this course still can help you build a solid foundation in understanding the chord progression in more details.
Highly recommended!

This course is so full of information it will keep you busy for awhile. The Magic Circle has helped me learn Key Signatures, the order of Sharps and Flats, Roman Numerals & Chord progressions. There is a Chart in the course that is helpful also. I loved the exercises which helped me retain the information. Best course on the Circle of Fifths I have ever encountered. Quality course.

This course was absolutely fantastic. I have tried to understand the Circle of Fifths a few times before, but never could. Rosa makes it so comprehensible. She's a great teacher who explains things slowly and clearly and provides many examples of what she is talking about. I loved this course so much that as soon as I finished it, I bought the next two (last two) courses in this series (#2 and #3). I really appreciate Rosa Suen. Great course and great teacher. There's only one thing people should be aware of in the beginning of the course. Rosa shows us how to count fifths around the circle and how to count fourths around the circle. Some people were confused because they don't know how to count notes in a scale, and Rosa assumed that everyone does. Be aware that notes are counted this way: Root note, a whole step, a whole step, a half-step, a whole step. 1 2. 3. 4 5 If you don't understand how to count a half-step, you will be confused as to how she is counting. But in all honesty, this is not so important in understanding the circle and only comes up in one of the first classes, never to be seen again. Take this course. It's great.

Well the course is now completed for me. I've learnt a number of things that will benefit me with playing music on guitar. Some of the things I already knew, but the rest has filled in some gaps that needed filling and also made me aware of the things that I need to address next. The course covers a lot of information with plenty of chances to practice the methods. It does not cover everything concerning the circle of 5ths, but that is to be expected as the course would need to be massive to do this. Instead it was of a good length and engaging. Rosa has also replied to my enquiries and answered them to my satisfaction. I have enjoyed the course. Many thanks Rosa for putting together well thought out information.

I thought it was way too slow with a lots of content repeated again and again from lessons to lessons. Sometimes the lesssons said exactly the same things as the last ones. Also lots of content is just the same but duplicated for each key, which isn't very interesting, because the concept clearly explains, it's a circle so you learn it once and apply everywhere no need to repeat it for every keys. But it also had some good point and interesting pattern to learn about theory of music. I would recommand to a very begginer, but maybe not an intermediate player.

Too many examples. For one section, she has 5 to 6 examples in 5 to 7 separate videos. I think we need only 3 examples and put them in one video. She should have more exercises in PDF format with correct answers, rather than a lot of examples in too many separate videos.

I have tried to learn the Circle of Fifths before, but was unsuccessful. This course lays it out well. I am going through it a second time before I proceed to the next level. While the content was great, the format could have been improved. It was unwieldy having so many sessions, some of which were less than two minutes long. I would have preferred having 10 minute sessions so that it flowed better and I did not have to sit through so many time-wasting dissolves. Also, I would have appreciated having the music played so that we could get an idea of the sound of the various chord progressions. It would have been a great benefit to hear what was happening. Other than the formatting issues, I really learned something here. Thanks for the course, I can't want to get to the next level.

Rosa knows her material and did a great job of presenting it, with good color, nice graphics, and live interaction. I learned more than I expected to learn from this course and will definitely be taking Level 2. Because she covers some of the material in multiple keys, the second half of the course becomes somewhat repetitive. There is one stretch of several videos in a row where she covers the same concept, for the same Secondary Dominants, repeatedly. She explained to me that she does that so that students can easily follow along and use the videos later as an easy reference, so you might want to skip some of the later sections that do this. Just click to the end of them so that you can get 'completed' status for each video.

I have only been learning music for a few months but am amazed how much I already know since taking Rosa's Magic Circle of 5th course. Using my own 'Magic Circle of 5ths' I am able to understand important aspects of music theory that I would never have thought possible at such an early stage of my music training. Rosa makes it seem so logical. Learning with Rosa does not feel like 'being taught' in the conventional way - it is more like being shown how to do something by a very patient friend. For me it is a most effective method of learning!

I finished your course The magic Circle of 5ths and I am amazed on how much I have learned. I can finally understand the circle and its purpose. I have study music for several years now, I even went to school and got an associate in music and they mention the circle of 5ths but only to remember the sharp and flats (static circle). I started to create my own compositions and I knew that the circle of 5ths was a great tool but didn't have the guidance to understand it and fully use it until I discover your course. I think you are doing a wonderful job and I can not wait to lear from the level 2 course.

I have been teaching myself to play the ukulele for the past few months but had been struggling to understand which chords went together and why. I was able to play by ear but it was entirely through guesswork. The circle of 5ths really helps you understand how chord progressions work and Rosa's moving version makes so much more sense than a static circle. It's only been a few days since I started the course but I feel that I have a much better understanding of music theory already. Plus Rosa's voice is so pleasant! I really look forward to listening to the videos and playing my ukulele after a long day at work.

I listened all the video and lesson, it covers area of music what is necessary for all the musician and I have never seen to be covered anywhere in one bundle, to thanks Rosa I recommend him to add following concept in lecturer to fortify her course 1- circle of fifths for other 6 mode such as Minor scales (Aeolian modes) or dorian, Phrygian, lydian, mixolydian or Locrian 2- Relation of between each modes and scale and different genre of music. 3- Application of each modes, chord progression and genre of music 4- Improvisation techniques by the aid of circle of 5th 5- adding music record of each music sheet instead of refering to you tube
