Nginx 2026 - Beginner to Advanced (Udemy.com)

Mr.Vora has explained clearly, and with technical depth exactly what students will get from this course. His understanding of Wireshark, HTTP/TLS protocols, security concerns and use cases of NGINX inspires trust and excitement for me to take the course.

Zeal is a great instructor, and the explanations are clear and supported with practical demonstrations. This is one of the best courses I’ve come across for learning Nginx in depth. The older version of the course had a few issues, but the latest 2026 update appears to have resolved them, making the course excellent once again.

Postives: 1) Best NGINX course in the market. 2) This is literally easily digestable material available for NGINX, there is literally nothing else. What can be improved: 1) Most parts of the course seems old(2015 old). If you're not friendly with Linux, and haven't learnt how to install nginx and host a website(takes 30 mins), you'll struggle in this course. 2) He uses varieties of OS like centos 7, rocky linux 8 etc. While concepts remain os independent, you've to figure out some stuffs by yourself. Use serverfault.com in that case. 3) It'd be nice if he shared the nginx configuration. It was a great course, his explanations are clear and straight to the point, of course there are some lectures that you won't be able to follow unless you have nginx+ (premium). Teacher congrats and please consider creating an Apache Web Server Course.....

I liked this course generally speaking. It is a very basic online course for people who do not have any HTTP/Ngnix/Reverse proxy/Load balancer knowledge or have very limit understanding of those even though there were some repetitive content in the course and the instructor used different operating system to illustrate the course examples. The instructor was very clear about the context in the class and I think it is a good course for junior software engineer who don't have much server side knowledge. One thing I am disappointed is, there isn't that much Nginx knowledge in this course and I hope this course would get more detailed Niginx related videos.

I enjoyed this NGINX class. I feel the content was excellent. It covered a lot of material and was very hands on. Each configuration setting was explained well. There was background information provided that helped me to better understand why. I like to know why and not just config this if you want to use this feature. Would recommend this class.

This course presents basically everything you need to know about Nginx in standard production, and it explains not just the Nginx feature but also the the general problem the feature is covering. Zeal takes time to teach important CS concepts in a quick but concise way, and even knowing most of the concepts it was worthful, I learned some small things here and there.

Zeal's competence in using Nginx is very clear throughout the course and I like that he covered a few things with Nginx Plus even though almost no-one will actually use it. His examples were pretty good. I had an intermediate level of experience with Nginx so it was great to get a logically constructed approach to learning about it formally but my experience shows me that there were a few missing topics that I'd hoped would be covered, including SSI, as well as a number of directives that seem common to real-world Nginx files but that didn't get touched on at all - there are a couple from my own file: error_page 404 405 502 504 = @app; proxy_cache_bypass $cookie_nocache $arg_nocache; try_files $uri $uri/ =404; Taking the course doesn't negate the need to do my own research but I'd hoped these would be covered. I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to or already using Nginx in their tech stack.

Overall, a very good course. I took 1/2 point away because of some duplicate videos, and some video resolutions were not available in 720p. The instructor explains highly technical concepts in a detailed matter for better comprehension.
