Course Description
React is one of the most popular library's for building client apps with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. If you want to establish yourself as a front-end or full-stack developer, you need to learn React.
This course follows a hands-on approach or 'learn-by-doing, which means the whole course is structured around building a fullstack web application and the different concepts will be explained detailedly as they are introduced.
What's this course about?
This course is about building a complete fullstack web application from scratch using popular development tools. The curriculum for this course is going to be very hands on as we walk from start to finish building and deploying the application to production. The course is structured into 2 main parts:
Development (Backend and Frontend)
Deployment (Infrastructure setup on AWS and CI/CD)
Each structure is broken down into its sections.
Backend development
Backend deployment
Frontend development
Frontend deployment
Students can go through all the sections or just the sections they are most interested in.
What Technology You'll Use
We are building a real-time fullstack application with Continuous integration/delivery and automatic deployment, we'll use a variety of technologies.
Development
React
Redux-toolkit
NodeJS
Typescript and Javascript
Redis
MongoDB and Mongoose
Message queues
SocketIO
Jest for unit test
Cloudinary for image and video upload
Nodemailer and Sendgrid mail
and much more...
Infrastructure Setup and Deployment
Terraform
AWS
CircleCI
Numerous AWS resources will be used. Some of those resources are:
- VPC and subnets
- Internet gateways
- Route tables
- NAT gateways and elastic ips
- Security groups
- Load balancers
- Autoscaling groups
- EC2 instances
- Route53
- S3
- Code deploy
- Elasticache for redis clusters
- and much more
Not familiar with some of these? No problem! This course will guide you on how to setup and use these technologies in your apps.
What You'll Be Able to Do
By the time you complete this course or one of the sections you are interested in, you'll be able

The teacher shows great developments skills and a great expertise in all the technologies involved in the solution, however, it is poor from an educational perspective. Most of the concepts are not explained at all, making the course a mere guide of how to build a concrete application and hard for beginners or even mid-career devs to follow. The course still holds some value given all the subjects it covers, but it's good only to wrap up some previous knowledge. Also, any issues should be fixed on original lessons, rather than presenting broken code to the audience and then extra lessons to fix it.

One word, AMAZING!!! This course is a complete package with production level code. Code is written with proper convention. I was looking this kind of course for a long time. The course is vast and comprehensive and it introduces me to a lot of new tools. Obviously a lit bit of googling is required if some concepts are new for you or if you are coding on a windows platform. If have completed backend part of the course and couldn't wait to complete the whole course. Thanks a lot Eddie for creating this course.

The code base is too extensive and confusing... some things are hell for Windows users. Overall the course is good but can be improved. Edit: I do not know about AWS but when I hosted my site on platforms like OnRender... sockets did not seem to work well, and when the page was reloaded the URL was not recognized. It may be due to not using a browser router. I don't know much as I am new to react but I got introduced to many new things.

Awesome class! Due to enormous content of this class, some code could not be fully explained, but you can search on the Internet and learn some basic knowledge by yourself. Sometimes you should review your code and take some notes if you are not familiar with these tools. It is a comprehensive course for building a full stack website and it is what I want on Udemy.

In one word: AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME... Even if you pay 10000 usd for this course, it deserves. In this course you will find the use of many modern tools. You can search all youtube, udemy, google everywhere, you can't find these tools explained in "a single project". I am that ambitious. Because I searched. You will find; but redis alone, or nodejs with redis, typescript alone or react with typescript etc. Redis, BullMQ, typescript, pm2, terraform and many more tools in the same project. I have one warning: This is not a beginner-level course. Before taking the course, make sure you have basic MERN, typescript knowledge. Extremly thanks Eddie. We are waiting for another big content....

Unbelievable! The biggest MERN stack project I've ever seen on Udemy. As a junior developer who usually only do some features in a big project. I'm always curious about how to setup a MERN stack project from the first line of code to deploy on AWS. And now, this is the course that I've waiting for a long time. Love it!

The amount of knowledge learned in this course is not comparable to any other course. The architecture of backend and frontend and integration is astonishing. I have never seen a full stack course that covers best practices, performance, monitoring, observability in 1. The knowledge learned here will turn any software developer into a software architect!

This course is not beginner-friendly, but for those aiming to advance from mid to senior level, it is perfect. It offers tremendous value for your money with almost 100 hours of content, closely resembling real-world applications. I highly recommend his microservices course after completing this one. You will be industry-ready.

One word to describe — This course is superb, which means really superb. It covers a few wide topics in detail, to name a few Redis & MongoDB de facto NoSQL with a lot of hands-on code along with Typescript & JavaScript. The author is really knowledgeable for the topics he is covering and prompt to any queries/suggestions if you get stuck somewhere or need clarifications. Though I have just completed section 58 of the course, I am loving the course and the teaching style and hope it remains the same till the end. ::) If you need to master the craft, this course is really then for you…. Go for it.
