Maurizio De Angelis was born in Rome and grew up surrounded by some of Europe's most celebrated art and architecture.
It is little wonder that he went on to study Fine Art, specialising in traditional painting, at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome and in Florence.
Living in London (UK) since 2004, he works as a 3D modeller and scientific illustrator, creating digital contents for the media and publishing industries.
His work has appeared in films, TV commercials, books and journals for a wide range of clients.
Alongside his career as an illustrator, Maurizio continues to paint, taking private commissions for portraits using oil paint on wood supports.

this is got to be the best drawing course I've ever taken.

The whole course is a step-by-step process to a clear goal. I'm finding myself discovering techniques I had never used before that improved the way I use photoshop tremendously.

If that wasn't enough, the whole course is very carefully crafted, the graphics, the voice over... it's a piece of art in itself.

I highly recommend this course to anyone passionate about drawing and illustrations that wants to learn from a real Artist, it's a no-brainer.

Wonderful teacher. I would never have imagined that I could follow this type of painting and produce something reasonable that I could be proud of.

Using just procreate all the way through I was able to manage well without photoshop. Best painting course I've found.
