Procreate - Learn 15 Easy Painting Techniques (Udemy.com)

I did enjoy the course. The problems I had were in the inability to see what sections he was picking his brushes from. One brush I couldn't find and substituted one which seemed to produce the same effect. I also felt it would have been helpful if he would have explained the differences between merging and flattening and when it would be appropriate to use. Since I totally new to procreate I sometimes felt he assumed a more advanced student.

This course was fascinating, and the first one I've seen that mentioned so many brushes, much less demonstrated how/when each could be used. My only regret is that Sections 3 through 12 use such detailed flowers as examples, that toward the end I was getting tired of seeing the same technique shown on all 20+ leaves or buds of the drawing. I prefer the approach of section 13 (Painterly Techniques) which used a simpler drawing, and in fact, the same drawing done 3 different ways, with only ~10 minutes (rather than ~50 minutes) dedicated to each technique. Just my personal preference. It was truly an amazing course.

I really enjoyed going through this course. I guess when you look at the result of a lesson and you cannot believe you have actually done that illustration, that is a good indicator that you are learning and improving your technique. The other really neat thing is that by the end of the course, you start to understand the necessary steps in producing a certain effect and the only thing that varies is the brushes you're using. The only thing I would add to this learning experience would be a resource (like a pdf) that summarizes all techniques and brushes used in the course for future reference. This was a fascinating look into what can be accomplished with Procreate using the many different techniques that are available. I also had to delve into my artistic side to get the effects I wanted on each piece which was difficult because I have never painted before, but is why I took this course. I am happy with what I accomplished. This was a very detailed, expansive course and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to paint on their ipad. Thank you to Maurizio De Angelis, the instructor, for his excellent teaching skills.

Clear explanation and useful examples, it shows different ways to archive great results even with default brushes. Course includes hours of practicing and it can take days to try all techniques... but it's definitely worth it. p.s.: Take into account this course isn't about painting, it's about coloring ;)

This course is must for beginners. It gives you: 1) many coloring techniques 2) a lot of practice 3) tips and understanding how to work in Procreate efficiently. I’m half way through now but already notice that I’m much more comfortable drawing in Procreate. I used to constantly doubt myself and experiment because I didn’t know how to achieve some effect. I simply know how to do it now and it reduces anxiety a lot! I’m not afraid of white clear sheet and my hands are much more steady because practice-practice-practice! Honestly, I had my doubts as I don’t like all the examples shown in preview but in fact, even if it’s a little bit extrime sometimes or not enough other times, techniques are great. And it’s up to you to use them how you see fit later after you master them. Even lineart that I think is unnecessary in half cases from aesthetic point of view is beneficial as it is more practise, and you get understanding of how different lines and brushes work. To summarise - if you need a nudge to practise and improve, this course is for you!

Yes, I so glad I picked this course. Previously I had only experience with traditional art, I brought a tablet to begin my journey with digital art but truly felt lost at painting my drawings. This course has already taught me so much and various different styles I can use! I'm excited to put these techniques into practice on my own art. Thankyou!

This was a great course, I enjoyed it very much. Lots of helpful little tips, I feel more confident with using Procreate as an illustration alternative now. Didn't know where to begin before but now I know many tools. The only feedback I have is that I couldn't find some of the pencils(Procreate pencil, peppermint) and others were to be found at different places than in the instructions.

It was a great course, got me fully acquainted to Procreate and many colouring techniques. Felt a bit repetitive in the end but I guess this is what happens when you get the hang of something, and it is practice which makes perfect, so this is not a complaint in any way :). Maurizio is a great instructor, and this course has definitely taken me a step further in my Procreate and illustration skills. Thank you!

O instrutor tem boa didática e ensina de forma muito clara diversas técnicas de pintura no iPad. Gostei muito o fato de não termos que perder tempo criando um desenho novo. Além disso, o desenho que utilizamos como base no curso é desafiador o suficiente para explorarmos as técnicas ensinadas de muitas formas diferentes.
