Piano Embellishments | Fills, Runs, & Scales (Udemy.com)

I am not one to leave bad reviews but I have to say I'm not even halfways through and am finding this near on impossible to follows. I'm giving two stars as I like all the fills and embellishments but it's very rushed and hard to follow, I've tried slowing it down and it's still hard to see what some of the notes are. I have tried covering up the left hand on the screen, but sadly there are a lot of teachers who seem to end up adding in extra fills without telling you what they are doing. The sus2 to major was fine but beyond that it was all too rushed and I just couldn't catch what he was doing. This would be improved if it were slowed down and NOTATION was provided. I'm dipping into other lesson and to be honest am giving up. I've had some chording experience and really want to learn fills but this was soooo hard to follow. I'm going to see if I can find these embellishments on youtube that are slower.

Very practical and useful. Can almost instantly play great modern sounding songs in minutes without looking at sheet music or chord sheets with the techniques learned, and without going through very dry theories and learning how to play different types of chords. Lessons are generally very easy to follow with basic piano playing background. This is a great match with what I am looking for.

I am still going through the courseThis is a wonderful course. The teacher is very calm and composed and go with the slow speed. I haven’t found such specific module available elsewhere. Looking forward to have such more guided lessons from the teacher.

Excellent course. This course takes regular simple chord progressions and turns them into melodic beauty. It will make a beginner sound like a seasoned pianist in very little time. Loved it.

I'm learning so many little things from this. Though I spend about 80% of my time practicing, the 20% where I'm listening to Kingsley ties it all together and makes it much easier to understand

Very good course, so easy to follow. I took it just after the Piano by Ear also from Kingsley, because I thought it would be a good addition to the first one, and I did not regret about it. It will add to your practice more fills and runs to make songs sound beautiful. Kingsley also shows how to play an accompaniment to the vocalist but also how to play a melody with accords and fill it with embellishments. So beautiful, thank you. I highly recommend it to everyone who just started to learn piano and what to improve their chord playing skill, or to these people who know the chords and what to make them sound better, fuller.

The lessons are easy , yet very destructive in the format used in teaching.The voicing of the lessons is a little monotone to listen too but descriptive in his lesson formats’ The lessons so far are pretty basic but just helpful enough if just starting to play kys of any kind.

This course teaches you to play piano beautifully regardless of your skill level. This is the best and most practical piano course I ever had. I wish I could give this course a six-star rating!

This is one of the best courses I've ever subscribed to on udemy. The teacher is very intelligent and knowledgeable. His pedagogical skills are outstanding. I will recommend this course to anyone who wants a deeper understanding in playing the keyboard.
