Course Description
Stop Guessing How to Treat Plantar Fasciitis
Few conditions frustrate massage therapists more than plantar fasciitis.
Clients arrive after trying stretches, orthotics, ice, massage, taping, injections, or months of rest—with little or no lasting improvement.
Many therapists simply continue doing what they've always been taught.
The problem?
Much of what we've believed about plantar fasciitis has changed.
Learn From One of the World's Best-Selling Massage Instructors
I'm Mark Perren-Jones. Over the past 30 years I've helped hundreds of thousands of students worldwide while treating professional athletes, celebrities, Presidents and thousands of clients with pain conditions.
In this course I'll show you the same systematic approach I use to assess, understand and manage plantar fasciitis using the latest clinical research.
This isn't about memorising techniques.
It's about understanding what actually works—and avoiding treatments that research no longer supports.
What You'll Learn
• How to accurately assess plantar fasciitis.
• Why plantar fasciitis may not even be the most accurate diagnosis.
• Which massage techniques are supported by current evidence.
• Which stretches help—and which commonly prescribed stretches may be ineffective.
• The truth about orthotics, footwear, pronation and heel spurs.
• The role of strengthening and rehabilitation.
• How to educate clients using modern pain science.
• A practical treatment system you can begin using immediately.
Why This Course Is Different
Most courses simply teach techniques.
This course teaches clinical reasoning.
You'll understand why you're choosing a treatment, when to change your approach, and how to confidently explain your recommendations to clients.
Instead of relying on outdated theories or anecdotal advice, you'll make treatment decisions based on current research and practical clinical experience.
Perfect For
• Massage Therapists
• Myotherapists
• Manual Therapists
• Sports Massage Therapists
• Bodyworkers
• Students wanting a stronger understanding of plantar fasciitis
By The End Of This Course
You'll stop hoping your treatments work.
Instead, you'll have a clear evidence-based framework for assessing plantar fasciitis, choosing effective treatments, recommending appropriate exercises, and helping clients recover with greater confidence.
Become the therapist clients recommend when foot pain refuses to go away.

I am a visual learner. I NEED to be able to see things and then hit replay and repeat until I have learned. I appreciate having this done on video and being able to go back and replay your material. ALSO .... I had no idea you were going to be providing resources. I have just started this course so I haven't even seen much of what the resources are, but what I have seen in this presentation gets me really excited. Only going to help me be a better massage therapist. THANK YOU!!

Mark is giving a good background to identify how things used to be done and presumably he will go on to give us new solutions. Clearly explained and entertaining too - the cat’s tail must get a mention too

Simple to follow. The course fits around your life no matter how busy you are. I thought I knew a lot about this subject but Mark taught me things I hadn't known about. I have now applied these changes to my usual treatments with great results.

Mark delivers his courses with an engaging attitude. Plenty of explanations and demonstrations, that leaves little room for not understanding exactly how to deliver the treatment. Another fantastic course Mark! Now to start the next one.

I had a very good experience with this course, especially because when I started it I had a plantar fasciitis. And applying the exercises and kinesiology taping, as taught in the course I obtained very good results in my health state. I recommend this course.

I am a registered reflexologist and this disease is presented MANY times in my practice. I was aware that the problem resonates within the calf muscles and have used massage techniques to ease those muscles, but the condition still remains for quite a while for my clients. I want to have quicker positive results and that is why I enrolled in this course.
