In this course, we'll learn to code, starting from the basic blocks. No kidding! Scratch, the programming language we use (developed by MIT), is so fun that it makes programming seem like a game.

Great examples and instruction. I love how Daniel demonstrates what the wrong approach looks like, as well as the preferred approach. It was fun seeing how he discussed bugs, and how to resolve them. He could have just created a perfectly working game, but instead showed how the game failed, and then demonstrated how he worked through the bug.

I was looking for a class that could explain coding to me like I was on Sesame Street. Daniel did just that. Getting kids and adults interested by using games we're familiar with to help get you to understand the mechanics of what makes a game tick. Also made it easier to understand with Daniel using Scratch; color coding different functions and the use of shapes. Beautifully done.

Im not too good at reviews ,it's my first one actually.This course gives a good understanding of basic programming concepts through creating of 'old-school' games like ping-pong,Pac-Man etc,superficially try shoes of programmers on yourself facing bugs,searching for mistakes,figuring out how objects interact with each another,and other underwater stones. Minuses are:author providing you with ready sprites,backdrops,sounds and coordinates for them rather than explaining how you could yourself make them up ,download and work with coordinates.You just download the file with pictures, author says:'Just put this numbers' without explaining coordinates grid .Overall:it's a good course im grateful to the author!
