Course Description
If you’ve jumped straight into vibe coding tools like Cursor, Lovable, Replit, Windsurf, or Bolt but keep getting stuck — it’s not you, it’s the missing step you skipped. This course gives you that step.
If you’re a future programmer, you face the same problem: you start a coding course and feel lost in jargon, constantly pausing videos to Google terms, wondering if you’ve skipped some secret “beginner’s handbook.”
This course is that handbook.
This course fixes that. It’s not a coding course — it’s a pre-coding foundation designed for:
Vibe coders who want to use AI and creative coding tools more effectively.
Future programmers who want to start coding without hitting confusing gaps.
What You’ll Learn
The different types of programs you can create — from web apps and automation to creative AI-assisted projects.
How to navigate the terminal/command line like a pro.
The difference between code editors and IDEs, and how to choose the right one for your workflow.
How files like CSV, JSON, and XML fit into real-world coding and AI projects.
The basics of relational and NoSQL databases.
How Git and GitHub help track your work and collaborate with others.
The core concepts of programming (variables, data types, loops, functions) from a conceptual perspective.
How to break down problems and plan solutions logically — before you code.
What web servers, APIs, and deployment mean in both programming and vibe coding contexts.
How to pick your first programming language and start building a portfolio or creative project library.
Who This Course Is For
Vibe coders who want to make the most of AI-assisted coding tools.
Aspiring programmers who want a solid start before diving into code.
Anyone who has started coding but feels confused by unfamiliar terms and workflows.
By the end, you’ll understand the landscape of programming and creative coding, know how real developers work, and feel fully prepared to start your first coding language or AI-assisted project.

The author is quiet knowledgeable , but this course has content which is for a beginner, although is relevant ,I felt length could be cut down from 5 hours of content. A concise course. may be in my opinion 1 -1:30 hr would be sufficient length

Excellent introductory course to the world of programming. I was already learning Python but decided to take this first before continuing with the Python course, and it was the right desicion. This course will basically explain to you the different aspects of programming in and out of programming itself, while you will not learn "how to program", you will definetely learn all the needed fundamentals that you will need before actually doing a bootcamp in programming. The title and the content were on point, and the instructor was fantastic, it was money well spent. Cheers from Mexico City.

I got this course through my local library for free. It was pretty helpful to teach the basics of programing. I know next to nothing about coding so I did learn some things. The course is worth the watch, but I would not purchase it.

This course is an excellent resource for mastering the essentials without any fluff . The modules on Terminal, Editors, Databases, and Git were incredibly clear and efficient. The instructor respects your time and gets straight to the point, making complex workflows easy to understand. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upskill quickly

The instructor have good vibes teaching very clear and understanding each of the subject teach. I have all the course from master course, object oriented and this new course. Worthy to add in your library for journey learning the code.

This course delivers excellent content for building a strong foundation in programming. It effectively introduces core concepts, providing clear context and a solid starting point for understanding how programming works. It offers a comprehensive overview of common principles, making complex ideas accessible and engaging.

What I was looking for, a good overview of computing - how all the disparate elements work, how they are deployed and used in conjunction to provide the computing infrastructure. I found Sections 9-11 particularly useful in demonstrating how to approach the challenge of designing a solution for a problem your program aims to address - how the problem's inherent characteristics and the methodology of its proposed resolution influence the selection of the most suitable programming language.

I am thankful for this course. The instructor is clear and thorough. I appreciate the way that this course presents a good and practical background about a variety of ideas and tools that are often needed as one codes, on top of knowing a programming language.

Very good introduction software development before the coding part. I definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a board insight into coding in general and will get you more prepared.
By Aleksandar Copic on 4/12/2025
I took this course in parallel with Ardit's Python Mega course to be able to understand some concepts more thoroughly, so I would recommend if you are new to programming to take this course first and then for example his Python programming course.
