Sean Kaye
Hi, my name is Sean Kaye and I have the luxury of solving varied and complicated problems using technology for a living.
Ever since I can remember, I've been fascinated by the way technology evolves to more efficiently and effectively help people get things done.
For the last 20 years of my career, I've worked with large companies to apply leading edge technology to deliver results and to help them achieve their desired business goals and outcomes.
I've been involved with every major wave of technology since the early 90's working with companies to connect to the internet for the first time, designing early web-enabled ecommerce platforms through to cloud computing and hybrid IT over the last ten years especially.
During that time, I've worked with the technology of every major platform and vendor in the public and private cloud space such as: VMWare, Google, Microsoft and Amazon.
In my spare time over the past decade, I setup and run a few of online marketing services businesses with my wife. This area has expanded my mind and skillset into things like SEO, Copywriting and Content Marketing. In particular, I've been able to combine these online marketing skills with my technology and management experience to help people setup and operate their own online businesses successfully.
I'm originally from Toronto, Canada but have been living in Sydney, Australia for the past 21 years with my wife and son.

This course was fantastic! 7 years on (I just watched this in 2025), and it still has value. The section "I hate my face" was hilarious and that gargoyle face will be haunting me in my dreams for a while. Section 11 was incredibly helpful because I was grappling with an instructional video and I suddenly realised how to solve the problem. Brilliant, that will save me loads of time! I just invested in a teleprompter and the tips in the course will help me to use it properly. The closing scene of the course was poignant. As a teacher, I too truly believe that education and training videos can change lives, benefitting both individuals and communities. Thank you so much for this course!

The basics are always the most important component parts of any project. Only my opinion, of course. But a solid schooling in the basics by making them easy to understand is a great thing to get from a course and this delivers. In that respect Len never omits to make things easy to understand, which inspires confidence and reduces fear about taking the first steps. More of the same, same old, same stuff, same great stuff.

This course fills in some of the pieces I haven't found in other, more comprehensive courses. If you're thinking of using a script to do a course, it provides helpful tips and demonstrations on how to make reading the script sound and look more spontaneous. The only real issue I had with it was that the instructor does not appear to be looking at the camera when he speaks, but instead has slightly downcast eyes, and it seems he's using the same method he teaches in the course. I'd want a more direct look for my course.

Instructor is engaging and provided great info, especially for someone that has no experience or prior knowledge. He provides lots of opportunities to practice and encouragement to get through the embarrassment / awkwardness of recording yourself. I don't know about you, but I feel like an idiot talking to myself when I record, even though I know I'm doing this for other people to watch. I'm pretty animated in real life so it's hard for me to know where the line between professional-you-can-trust-me-to-do-the-job and too much me is. More practice!

This is the first course I evaluate in Udemy, I've taken 6 courses, and I decided to do so, because it has good insights and made me want to go on. Something to consider is that I got here from a recommendation from LearnWorlds.com, however, initially, I searched for the course title, and never was listed, i had to do a search by Len Smith, and that was the way, I found it. Do not know why, but search capabilities should be improved in Udemy.

I have to put into practice to truly appreciate what I have learnt in this course. Nevertheless, I am very impressed by Len's own presentation style. I am particularly struck by his intonations and pauses in his spoken sentences. Of course, the extra tips on teleprompter, etc are bonuses.

Thoroughly enjoyed Len's approach to teaching and sharing his knowledge, skills and experience. I feel it has given me many of the tools to take an idea I have had and turn it into a way of effectively sharing knowledge. I firmly believe knowledge only becomes TRULY powerful when given away freely. This course will enable me to start doing that in both my professional and personal life in ways, up till now, I have only dreamed of. Thank you Len for empowering me to do this and for a terrific time in your 'class'. Tony, Sydney, Australia

Another amazing course from Len Smith. I use Len's "Whiz It" technique to complete the course with ease. I set apart the time, which felt like no time at all, set the course playback speed to 1.5x and whizzed through the course, downloading the handouts as I progressed. This is an amazing course and I'm proud to "hang" my completion certificate on my wall and put to great use the techniques you taught me about creating Talking Head videos. I hate taking the time to write a script but you made it painless and I definitely work better with one. William Sinclair

This course is for those who understand all of the script-writing basics, marketing, selling, etc. but want to increase their speaking and presence on camera. There are a bunch of good tips and everything is to the point. However, if you think this is an all-in-one course on copy and script writing, as well as video editing AND becoming more natural on camera, you'll be disappointed. The course does what it says and with giving you tips and guidance on how to practice and deliver a script fluidly, resulting increasing your likability, professionalism, and presence.

In developing my first course by far the most difficult part is adding talking head video. I'm confident in doing screencasts and slideshows, but freeze up when it comes to talking heads. This course has given me everything I need to get over my fear of the camera and successfully completing my first Preview video. It's all here - everything you need to know and do. It's packed with tips and examples. I know I will be returning to this course regularly to brush up on my skills and to see what goodies Len has added in. So happy I invested the time and money to complete this course!
