Recording income is pretty weak. How do you record deductions from gross income? FICA, Medicare, Federal Tax Deduction, State and so on. Income example here is only for the NET income.

I have been using Quicken for years, but as I am viewing this video on how to use Quickbooks for personal finances, the instructor has convinced me that Quickbooks is a much better option for recording my transactions and managing my household. The instructor is doing a tremendous job. Thank you.

I definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to manage their personal home finances. It is very detailed and thorough. Before this course, I wasn't sure how to even begin to set up QuickBooks for personal use.

Good overview on how to use Quickbooks to track personal finance information. The course covers how to set-up and use Quickbooks for the first time and takes you step by step through different scenarios to enter transactions.
If you are new to Quickbooks then this would be a good introductory course to get your started.
I was hoping for a little more information on best practices in setting up my accounts for annual tax preparation. I'm going to have to look elsewhere for that information.
Overall, I was happy with the course. I've been using Quickbooks off and on again since 1990s. I self taught myself initially and would have greatly benefited from this course. I already knew most of the material covered; however, I did pick up some tips and ideas.
