Yes, the instructor takes things slowly and begins with the very basics before moving on to anything more complicated, allowing me to easily follow along.

I've done some of these things with my Pi 3/Stratux aviation track receiver so pretty familiar up to here, but the next lessons will go where I have not gone before.

As I am the beginner for using the raspberry pi, I enjoyed the course. It was very descriptive and informative. I learned basics from the course and it will surely help me to build the basic projects using raspberry pi. Thank you :)

Good and simple example of LED to learn about GPIO pins. I really like the approach of starting with direct LED and then python and finally into web page. Excellent - step by step way of learning. Google Assistant is another good exercise.

It was a great startup video except it would have been nice to have links in the video to download the tools mentioned by clicking. Then, folks could click the link to download the file during the rest of the video. The sections which use the command line have three problems. First, the text in the command line window is too small for middle-aged adult eyes. Second, it is gray text on a black background, so the lack of contrast makes it even more difficult to read. Third, there is no introduction to each command being used on the command line, no breakdown of what parameters are allowed for each command, no explanation of the parameters which were actually used in the specific command line being used, and no explanation of sudo to help students understand why it was used on some commands, but absent on others. The command line is the part of Raspian which is least understood by newcomers to the Linux world, and so far the videos haven't been very helpful in understanding why some things can still only be done from the command line. Perhaps the remaining videos will help, but I'm halfway through the course and wondering why we are still forced to do so many things using this ancient command line interface when we are two decades into the 21st Century. It would be nice to know exactly what these commands are telling the system to do and what other things each command can be used to do. I guess I expected to gain a better understanding of the "why" behind the things I'm doing, rather than mindlessly mimicking what I see the instructor type on the screen.
