I came into this course with an already-high level of knowledge, as a chemical engineer involved in industry for a long career. I do understand sustainability concepts deeply, and this course was helpful, both as a refresher and a high level update on where things have been heading.

It has been quite informative lecture series with lots of illustrations and very relevant resource materials. Infact i would prefer the materials tailored made for the training and more time spent in explaining the concepts, rather than rushing through. Fewer and more concise topics should be covered in order to have greater depth in the presentations. All in all it was an interesting experience indeed.

The course gives basic notions of the operation of renewable energies, from its different types to its implementation, advantages and disadvantages, additionally it puts you in perspective regarding the sources of energy generation used since the previous decade. It is a good course to put people who are not related to the subject in context, however, it can be a very basic course for people who know about the subject.
