REST API Design from Scratch (Udemy.com)

I thought course would explain things behind, the course simply has What but it does not describes the "why" or the reason behind those steps like when deleting an item why delete has 204 no content but not 200 ok its an example many more examples are there. Also expected some diagrams with explanations written but was just a simple slide with creator speaking.

Amazing course for anyone who wants to bring some theoretical structure into their understanding of the API design process. The course is well structured, the information is clear, and everything is supported with great illustrations. The author speaks English very well, which makes it easy to understand the spoken part without using subtitles (important for me since I am not a native English speaker).

I don't find the course to be too practical and the slides the instructor uses don't help me understand what the concepts mean. What is a business for example, what is a customer? Can I see an example of a real requirement document that I would get to start designing my API?

Definitely a 5-star-course. Very informative, very structured. Above all I liked the summaries. They help very much with remembering things formerly learned. I am looking to hear further courses from you. If you allow, I would suggest one thing, you could do to reach even more people with your courses. We european people have problems listening to English with Indian pronounciation. Wenn you say API, wie understand Yippie ja (yeah). Try to use the British pronounciation of the most used terms of this course. I am sure, the number of attendants of your courses will increase.

This course is a good match, I would recommend the difference between URL and URI to be improved by including an example of URI. The presenter gave examples of URN and URL but not URI. The difference is not so clear and taking into consideration the presenter also said the URI and URL are used interchangeably;

El curso cuenta con material de referencia, además de que las explicaciones van paso a paso y complementadas con ayudas visuales que hacen que no todo se quede el lado de la teoría, sino que con el material incluido, puedes visualizar cómo es que se usa. Excelente curso.

Very hard to understand. The English is okay, but he has a very heavy accent. Even the Transcript of the videos couldn't pick up what was being said. Also, this course does nothing to show the user HOW to USE the APIs. It is strictly for desigining APIs. I wish I would have realized that before purchasing.

Personally very informative. Have been developing APIs for past 2-3 years but had not paid much attention to the design part. This course really broadens the view related to API design and implementation. Could have given 5 stars if some code examples were also provided. But Nonetheless, Great job and keep up the good work... :)

На данный момент оцениваю курс достаточно высоко, он подходит для новичков, автор подробно разжевывает материал и при этом освещает темы именно с позиции: как лучше делать чтобы легче было проектировать. Единственный недостаток: трудновато привыкнуть к акценту, но после нескольких роликов привыкаешь.

A nice course that explains the principles of Restful Design without boring or further ado. It may be even shorter, but it is possible to easily skip the places you find unnecessarly long and just read the slides and still understand the content of the lecture from the slides.
