Greetings from Spain. Great course! It provides a solid introduction to Oracle REST Data Services. Although I don’t use it directly, I do need to understand how it works for my day-to-day tasks at work. Thank you.

The course overall is good. The topics mentioned are well explained (especially if you know a little bit of Oracle DBs and similar topics). But I would be grateful if the course had more information and use cases based on the documentation provided in it. If creating, enabling ORDS and it's modules is possible with PL/SQL I think it should be shown as well. Overall great course but I would love to have a bit more

This course was very useful, it helped me understand the general concepts of RESTful services in oracle apex. Each of the sections contains the necessary information with concise examples.

The section about security and rest enabled sql services are pure basic. Even though the "security" feature was publicized several times in intros or descriptions - the chapter only shows mere basic actions and does not cover any other auth except oauth2. For remote enabled SQL does not talk about how to expose or protect the remote database. How to disable such a functionallity so that noone can connect dirrectly to the tables but to keep the API available etc. As last even though this course builds up an API, it does not show how to consume it from a control but focuses on external API's.

The course is concise and to the point. However, it explains how to use ORDS with APEX. However, APEX is not required to use ORDS - we can just use SQL Developer. I would gladly give this 5 stars if the instructor adds a bonus chapter using SQL Developer to interface with ORDS. This will be useful where APEX is not installed but we have access to SQL Developer. Cheers!

The pre requisites mentioned in Udemy doesn't match what is implied in the course. Also the audio level is low and hard to make out what the instructor is saying. It required some getting used to and playing the videos . The instructor is going a bit fast for a student who is beginner. Having said all that, I think the instructor knows the material and I was able to get benefit so far.

ORDS looked difficult, so I took this course. Velchandru went step by step and always demonstrated what he was talking about, so it quickly made sense. Great class!

This course was a great introduction into the Oracle Apex RESTful services. It provided me with the ability to go out and create my own outbound RESTfl application. The only missibg link was how to import data into an Orav=cle using RESTful. But I believe I now have the knowledge to discovery that on my own.
