Is is a qiuck and dirty approach to learn ruby. You get a first information how rails work but often you hear - you do not need to know this or that and sometimes code is changed without explanation, what that does.

Perfect -- I completed about 60% of the Complete Ruby on Rails Course but it was getting very tedious and I needed a fresh start. Also, the app we will be building in this class is closer to the app I ant o build for my own online art business.

The early set up videos are out of date and inaccurate. I appears quite a few people have problems at this point.
I spent a lot of time trying to get it to work (I'm fairly proficient), but then lost faith in the course and didn't want to risk more time.
I have 85 Udemy courses and this is my first negative review.
To be fair to John, he does reply promptly to messages, but there are better Complete Ruby on Rails Developer Courses on Udemy.

There are hundreds of courses that I can take. Therefore, time is of the essence. If the "Relevance" factor is not maintained, then I have better things to spend my time on. If I wanted a course on Git, then I would sign up for one. I wanted a course of Ruby.
