Using MySQL Databases With Python (Udemy.com)

It was good. Last time I saw what was created for the python which I have done to earn myself for congratulated already which already exists for me to do a python in my assignment that I already completed. Meanwhile, now it is time for my work to do for MySQL. I have downloaded but when and I don't know where to see but I will manage a few options to focus for what I've created. So far so good, then it is time for me to go ahead and I'll do again for some preparations. I'll catch up for another courses. So thank you!!!

I really enjoyed this course. I have used SQL in the past but am fairly new to Python. The most challenging part of the course for me was downloading all the software, especially MySQL because of prerequisite software missing from my rather old PC! Once I'd sorted this out, all went really well and it was a great refresher about SQL. I loved connecting to the database using Python. Many thanks.

I was new to mysql and then did this course. Now I got a hang of MySql. Nice way to start MySql. Loved the short and sweet course. Cheers and thank you John for preparing this course. One more thing about John is - he replies to all the queries asap. So, we don't have to wait for more time getting our answers.

It covers all the basic details about MySql and how to interact MySql workbench using Python. But I was expecting more data handling and interaction. The use of foreign keys, inner, outer join and stuff like that. Although the overall content of this course was very compact and to the point, also I like the pace of the content delivery, pretty smooth. Thanks for the knowledge sharing. :)

There have been some confusion about the additional apps used like Git Bash. It took a while to get my connections in order, but succeeded. The course is basic, very limited, but gives a short overview how to connect to Mysql and Python, make a DB and update and retrieve data in a simple way. Sometimes it looked like the instructor saw presented data for the first time (video over world.db). I got what I was looking for and it see it as a first step to continue.

I needed a quick intro into how Python hooks up with MySQL and this course delivered it. No fluff, just knowledge. The teacher is engaging and doesn't bore you with personal anecdotes or irrelevant data, he just teaches you how to do basic MySQL stuff in Python.

Great course! John did a great job putting together a training how to setup a MYSQL database and connecting it to Python and getting started with the key and basic database operations using Python. It meet my expectations completely and is a stepping stone for more advanced database programming using Python.

This course was a good 'kick starter', by which I mean it showed me what I could do with Python and MySQL if I was prepared to follow the instructions 'parrot fashion' - useful as a quick means of 'getting into' the topic. But it did not provide any real depth or understanding - that I had to get myself from other sources on the net. So, in my opinion this is very much a course for a beginner to get you started, but only useful if you are prepared to do the homework afterwards to properly understand what the course has enabled you to do.

The videos are very clear and simple. When you execute the program things work out well for you, but for us beginners we get errors. So it would be great if you could address some of the common mistakes that are made and also how to interpret the error messages that we usually see. Thanks

Powerful tools that are taught quickly and easily. I believe this course should form part of any data user or pyhton/mysql user's education. The instructor is easy to understand and each Lecture is well thought out and paced.
