This is a wonderful course! It covers the most useful Sass features. The Code and Create team use two very creative and engaging projects which make learning the features easy and understandable. And as always, no matter what the course topic, the team's course materials teach you something about beautiful website design.

The course was indeed above my expectations. I came to learn SASS, with the purpose of enhancing web development skills. However, not just did I get a lot of content on the preprocessor, but a great amount of tips (especially in the project sections), tricks and CSS syntax I wasn't quite aware of. Everything is carefully detailed and the sections aren't too hard to keep up with. Congrats to Code And Create for the enriching lessons.

+ Learn SASS basics, create variables, mixins and functions; + To the point, no time wasted; + End up with some responsive websites. - Instructor could spend more time on explaining functions and decisions; - It would be valuable to add some assignments to test your knowledge of scss/sass throughout the course, to check if information sticks and improve learning outcome. - still uses node-sass and @import (deprecated) instead of @use. - code could be made more semantic.

I was able to clear/fix some SASS stuff, I have covered earlier knowledge wise. Main takeaways for me was the last project with CSS flex and grid implementation making use of SASS variables from maps and lists, and infinite looping slide show animation with SASS directive. Some of the CSS decisions should have been disclosed rather than pointing to a CSS tutorial on sale from the same author. I mean considering the tutorials in the past some authors have been kind enough to pass in some sort of generic helpful explanations. Other than that, while its an old tutorial, still valid by 2022.

Another really great course by the guys at Code and Create. Everything was explained clearly and you always knew why you were doing something. The two course projects that you build are really cool and by completing them you gain a great understanding of SASS. All in all I was really happy with this course and I look forward to completing other courses by these guys in the future.

Overall great course for SASS. However there were some areas where when one is coding along the results differed when comparing with the instructor's results. Now one can argue the student was not typing something right or mistyped but I looked at in the QA section and found that error to be very common and I checked the code so I am not sure why that difference is but feel like the results should be more consistent. The instructor does good on some explanations on some concepts but sometimes he just tells us how to code it in terms of here it is but does not say the reason behind it, why are you doing this or that....no further explanation would be nice. But overall good, there are some concepts that one should know before taking this course. The instructor will not explain everything in details and assume you already know some level of front end developement

The author shows 2 1-page websites as examples which gives you pretty good hands-on experience. I would not recommend it for people who don't have good CSS knowledge. Before taking the course, brush up on the flexbox and grid.

The course is very good overall, just sometimes i wish some concepts were explained a little bit more or deeper. This course is not for beginners because you need to feel comfortable with Flexbox and CSS grid, for me it was a great follow up from the Flexbox and Grid course. Im looking now for a course that includes all CSS and SASS + JS, something project based in which students build a complete functional page.

The instructor is clear and concise. Very straight to the point.
Following along step by step is ok until you run into a scenario where your personal setup does not match with the instructor - not to worry about, however it's something to remain vigilant about.
I'm hoping to take this knowledge with me to use at work and it looks very transferrable.
Knowledge about using the command prompt window to watch your compiler is also very helpful if you happen to make a mistake in your code.
