10 Mega Responsive Websites with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Udemy.com)

One thing to know is that, this course is focus about pure layout, there is no functionalities implemented whatsoever, so don't expect to get a working website. Also, the website is nothing related to MEGA, most of the project only consists 1 main landing page, therefore creating a reusable CSS can be a challenge when you need to implement several pages. Some of the content are on the Youtube, and I think 2 of the projects have some issue with 3D effect. Though some students answered the question on the Q&A section, it still feels like the instructor has already abandoned the the course, but still update something to make it looks like up-to-date. Also, the voice was missing in some of the clips, still able to understand it, but kind of annoying. The implementation of wine house is very interesting, but when I use gestures, the JS is a mess, not recommended to use such implementation on your own without testing multiple devices or using external library.

This class is really helpful in learning how to effectively structure and organize your HTML and CSS code. It really clicked in my mind, I was more interested in how JS DOM manipulation fit in but everything I learned helped me to be a better designer. The learning curve is a bit steep because the instructors don't explain why they use some of the CSS code, and you need to look it up if you are new to CSS, but if you follow the projects from 1 to 10, then the code will pop up in your mind from muscle memory. Great course, I am glad I took the time to explore it.

This course was just very helpful and just what I needed. I was going through a web dev bootcamp, which introduced html, css and javascript, but did not spend much time with it and I was feeling a bit lost and overwhelmed, not grasping everything being thrown at my brain. But following along with this course made me feel a super bunch more comfortable in the act of writing html and css, and a bit more comfortable than I was with javascript. I'm more confident in what to use, where and why, and along with other resources, I can see that different coders have different styles, and the style of this course is pretty thorough. I am now also confident in changing and trying out different things and ways to go about reach similar results. This course is definitely a huge help in my journey to learn, and be at ease with, front end web dev, and got some great ideas for portfolio projects along the way. Thank you!

Course is really clear on how the instructor got there, learned a lot of core concepts and short cuts. He progressively introduces more advanced techniques with each project and my knowledge of CSS and Javascript has improved by leaps and bounds and I'm only halfway through this course! I will say that he does need to slow down, there have been several points where I had to pause and slow down the video to glance at the code and he does scroll or flip between screens quickly. However, this doesn't take away from the invaluable quality of what he has to teach, his clear concise answers to any questions I may have had and does show me he is a guy who has the skill to do this not only from memory but to do it efficiently. There are a few points that are outdated but that's to be expected with code so I will not take points from that since it is up to the coder/student to figure out what to update every year so it's a good skill to learn and expand on. I give it 5 stars because it's a course where I do enjoy the final results that stand out incredibly well and is responsive.

Course focused mainly on beginners because it teach and code step by step, without skipping one bit of code. As an experience developer I still gain valuable information even if I havent seen the whole videos, the designed proposed are actually really good and modern, really responsive and there is some very interesting implementation. The author is very clear and straight to the point

I have enjoyed taking this course because of its focus on the extensive use of CSS as well as JavaScript. I appreciate how new CSS makes it possible to exactly define what you would like your page to look like. The variety of projects in this course is fantastic. The projects touch on a number of critical elements in learning javascript, CSS, and HTML.

The instructors presentation and engagement has been excellent. The repetition from one section to another has become somewhat boring. The most valuable to me has been the lessons in the responsive sections. Perhaps building 2 complete websites with more simple content on interior pages such as working with text sections and more complete forms would have been preferred.

Code and Create are great at this. Plenty of reps and detailed explanations of everything we're doing. Not too much -- just right. They seem to rely on the assumption that if you're taking this course, you're paying attention to the point that you'll catch on and follow along with the steps intuitively, paying attention to detail. I'm impressed with everything so far!

Great course! If you are a developer, or already have a fair amount of knowledge, then this course is perfect to sharpen your skills. Make sure you code along. I enjoyed working thorough all the projects. However, I had to slow down the video by a tad, because it can be really fast at times. That's not a complaint or a problem, but I had to pause the video despite slowing it down. But, an excellent learning experience nevertheless.
