SC-900 Microsoft Security, Compliance, Identity Fundamentals (Udemy.com)

Passed the SC-900. The offering by Rodrigues was extremely helpful because of the Azure labs, which showed the reason the information is important and used. That being said, much of the Labs and naming (like Azure Entra) was not current. Furthermore, the free trials to personally do the Microsoft 360 Labs, for example, did not seem available to me. Still the attempt at "hands-on" learning with great build-up sequences is very commendable. Also note the Microsoft "Learn" material is useful (but has no labs). I also used Duffy for his organization and experienced comments.

This course provides clear and relevant information on securing an Azure environment. The step-by-step approach to creating and securing Azure is fantastic for those studying for the SC-900 certification or anyone new to Azure security. This course has a good cadence of learn, lab, review. However, the fourth section throws that practice out the window. The fourth section is also considerably out of date. For example, security center has become Purview. Almost every single lab is outdated compared to the new interface. This concerns me that the content may be dated along with the labs. I'm going to supplement with other courses before attempting the SC-900 test.

The instructor always goes into a lot of depth and takes time to provide context, which is especially important for these fundamental certs! I also like the Lab demonstrations that show how the different resources are made and provide extra information about their features and limitations.

Good Course. In my opinion too much hands-on and not enough course slide. Course slides helps me betters to know by heart the course. Close caption are not good (automated). Practice exam are near reality and very good. Thanks Alan

This is the second course I bought from Alan (first one was AZ-900) and he doesn't disappoint me. Very clear explanation, very practical and useful for my current job at SecOps. This course helped me to better understand M365 and Azure Security, compliance, and identity solutions. Nicely explained content along with many hands-on examples.. With Microsoft Learn content I was struggling to understand the concepts as most of it was presented in theory text. The Lab exposure received in this training helped greatly. An improvement area: The course requires few updates in line with recent changes made by Microsoft in SC-900 course content.

To be honest - I wasn't sure about the background of this course and assumed that it will be related to network security. However, the things that are covered in this course are related to overall environment security and compliance at a very basic level. The trainer has done a very good job with most of his demos and my only ask to him is to provide more detailed backgrounds before starting any topic (however he has done exceptionally well for some topics).
