Course Description

Instructor Info

Manuel Rondon is currently working as a freelance 3D artist and college instructor. He loves both jobs because they allow him to work on what he is passionate about while still having some creative freedom. His advice for students who are just starting out and want to make it in the industry is to be knowledgeable and be open to different areas of 3D art as this can give you more opportunities for jobs. As you gain more experience, you can then specialize in characters, textures, or animations but in the beginning, it's best to wear as many hats as possible.

i learned many new things , how this pipeline works , how to make environments specially interior one and about texturing n lighting.

Unfortunately, this course is extremly outdated in the most important part - Unity lighting. HDRP workflow since Unity 2019 changed a lot, so you can't follow the tutorial if you want to use newest versions of Unity.

By Andy on 2/27/2021

Found a more efficient way of modelling using some of the blocking methods and the human reference I used a block in the past but the arms make a difference. I actually understand most of the tools in substance thanks to this tutorial

By Andrew on 8/3/2020

Although not for a complete beginner this course is very good. Modeling explanation is very good, the tips are worth their weight in gold. Solid course, hopefully the teacher does more.

By Jon U on 4/18/2020

Great, but the demos need to be edited in places. There are many times where a phone buzzes and the instructor pauses, leaving the video running. Or in other cases, there is content where you make a decision, then moments later you repeat it again most likely due to editing. Otherwise great course, good information for anyone that want to model, texture and UV in PBR.

Very good course. The instructor takes his time and is knowledgeable. There are no time skips everything is laid out. And for the Blender users out there, this course is perfectly viable using Blender as your modeling software (though obviously some of the shortcuts for 3ds max differ).

By Benjamin Elofsson Esquerre on 2/24/2019

This is exactly what iv been looking for, im only 1/3 into the course but so far its really good, i also took a sneak peak at the end result and it got me super exicted to keep working. I hope to see more content from this guy!

By Aaron Laster on 1/20/2019

I use Blender but I like that he used references to 3D Max in case users wanted to try and learn the software. Easy to follow to this point but im only on lecture 2. Pretty standard stuff

By Casper on 9/10/2018

The course covers a lot of aspects and I enjoyed it. I have updated my rating due to the quick response to my suggestions and providing the obj files. The teacher is knowledgeable and you will definitely learn a few skills. The bonus chapter is really good and thanks for that!
