Sculpting in Zbrush-Ultimate course beginners/intermediate (Udemy.com)

I like how the informations about functions are clear, but the course could really use some edditing, i can not expect from anyone to be a fluent speaker all the time, BUT you could either write a scrtipt or edit all your umms and emms to cut the time of the course at least in half. I will still finish the course cus I think the teacher is a really experienced artist but anything other than 2x speed is unbearable.

When I first tried ZBrush I was so discouraged and overwhelmed. I couldn't get the hang of it, I only knew how to use Mudbox, and unfortunately my school did not teach ZBrush. One of my professors recommended this course and she was100% right. You are slowly taught the basics, repeating the steps until muscle memory starts kicking in, slowly building up tactics, learning how the brushes work, how ZBrush affects geometry, and the main tools of the trade to take your sculpts from simple to complex. ZBrush is an absolute beast. It takes time to learn. There are still many things I don't know, or may never use, because there is just so much in the program, but now that I am able to confidently navigate and understand how the heck tools work, my sculpts have gone from beginner to Holy Moly. I cannot recommend this course enough if you are struggling with ZBrush. I will always be able to look back in case I forget how to do something, but SO much of it has stuck with me because of the time he takes to cement the basics and main structures of ZBrush. I am a beginner–intermediate ZBrush user who has gone through several tutorials (both free and paid) over the past year. I learned a lot, but there were many topics that were missing here and there, and I couldn’t find any proper source or tutorial that covered all of them in one place. As a last attempt, I enrolled in this course, and much to my surprise, it is the best ZBrush tutorial I have ever watched. Everything is explained in a practical way, nothing major has been missing so far, and I am actually learning the things I was missing before. The only issue I noticed is a few typos in the text material, which is totally fine overall. Definitely a 10/10 tutorial if you want to learn ZBrush without wandering around the internet looking for educational resources!

I realy hated Zbrush at first and tried to avoid it using other softwares, but i found out that a lot of things could be done with zbrush and they looked realy cool. Thanks to this course i created stuff that i even didn't know i could do with it. The teacher was just perfect by explaining himself and it was realy easy to learn with him. Every cent was very well spent with this course.

A very good and detailed course for anyone who wants to learn Zbrush. The explanations are clear and everything is shown with examples. When learning anything if your fundamentals and core concepts are right you will excel at that and here everything is explained very well. There were some parts at the end of the course that I couldn't get first time, they were not very beginner friendly I would say but If you keep practicing and watch the videos again for a few times and with your own research (which you must do while learning something new) you will get a hang of it. I would have also liked if we could get a small preview where the sculpt is further exported to another 3d software like Maya or Max, Overall I would recommend it.

Having just finished this course I can, without hesitation, heartily recommend it to those new to Zbrush such as me but also I believe to more experienced students. It is well presented and clear but doesn't shy away from complexity when it is needed to better understand the processes. It also offers an insight into the concepts of sculpting in general not just teaching you to use a tool (Zbrush) but also the more fundamental aspects of form and shape etc used in sculpting. The instructor Milivoj Popovic is obviously very talented but also has the knack of teaching, sometimes difficult to understand, concepts with both skill and an empathic understanding of those still learning about this fascinating subject. Most highly recommended.

So far, I feel that this was a good first choice to begin my journey into ZBrush.
