Course Description
The ULTIMATE course for learning SQLite from scratch is finally here! Boost your database skills with this one of a kind severless database system.
SQLite is a unique database for embedded systems and is currently the most popular database on the market for browsers, embedded systems and even mobile phones. Easily summed up in three words, SQL is small, fast and reliable.
SQLite was designed by D. Richard Hipp in 2000 for an aboard guided missile destroyers that needed the program to be operated without installing a database management system or requiring a database administrator. It comes with numerous benefits over traditional relational database systems such as:
Manifest typing – SQL uses Manifest typing instead of static typing, which makes datatypes a property of the value itself, and not of the column in which the value is stored.
Readable source code – Codes in SQLite are commented and explained extremely well making the language quite readable.
Zero-Configuration – SQLite does not need to be installed multiple times and neither does it require any setup.
Serverless – SQL runs directly from the database files, without requiring a dedicated server.
Variable-length records – SQLite uses only the amount of disk space needed to store the information in a row, with very little overheads.
Single Database File – SQLite runs on a single ordinary disk file and does not need multiple files. It can also read all the files from the database it runs on.
Stable Cross-Platform Database File – A database file written on one machine can be copied to and used on a different machine with a different architecture.
SQL language extensions – It offers multiple enhancements to the SQL language that are not found in other database engines such as EXPLAIN keywords and Manifest typing language.
Public domain – SQLite is in the public domain, which means it is free of cost to use and manipulate as one sees fit.
This tutorial is the perfect resource to learn SQLite. We will breakdown the database from start to end to help you not only learn what it is and how it works, but instead master all the functions and keywords you need to become a professional.
The course will give you a detailed introduction and will help you progress from installing the system to learning the different important commands that are required to work with the database. You will also learn about constraints, joins and subqueries with detailed examples. At the end of this course, you will not only be familiar with SQLite but also how you can install it, work complex commands, generate a report and even manipulate data and tables.
Enroll now to get started with this amazing ‘lite’ serverless database engine!

very bad accent I worst my money and I dont buy Indian instructor course again
By Michael Thompson on 12/7/2020
The lecturer is knowledgeable and the course covers a lot of ground within the 2 hour duration. That said, I would say the course is too hurried as it covers some advanced topics at a rapid pace. The course would benefit from slower pacing and more preparation by offering students downloadable resources so they can readily follow along. A link to the example database is provided within the Q&A section but the database differs somewhat from that used within the course - tables are missing and the contents differ.

The instructor is using a command line program whereas I don't use it or see a need to use it. The instructor knows its subject but the accent is a little bit to strong for a speaker of standard American English. But I will follow the course for the substance, how to use SQL queries.

Couldn't finish watching the course because of instructor's have accent and a poor quality of demonstration video

The course is a nice overview of the Sqlite database and is really useful in real life projects. It's a good resource on SQLite, assuming some previous knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
By Rahul Kant Tiwari on 9/26/2017
The instructor has in-depth knowledge regarding SQLite. I would recommend this course, if you're a beginner. However, i feel like the instructor could have shown us the database before doing any sort of modifications on it as it makes us understand the changes in a better way & also he can provide us a download link for the databases used in the tutorial allowing the student to go hand in hand with the instructor. Nevertheless, This course is absolutely perfect for a novice. Easy to understand and short. Rahul.

It deserves 5 start rating as it is very well constructed, complete info as what beginner expects, some hands on coding. But make it more pleasing and audience friendly. Greyish and reddish themes are not all that much pleasing. That is why you lost the 1 star.
By Antonio Fernandez on 5/31/2017
The teacher is explaining really well the concepts but i would advise to put subtitles due to sometimes is difficult to understand for non native English speakers. it also would be great if the resources (such as examples databases) were available in order to replicate the exercises
By Gary M. Mugford on 5/12/2017
The greyish text on the dark grey/black background is not all that legible, although concentrating harder will let me get the gist of what is being talked about. The old standard of bold yellow on a black background is MUCH MORE preferable. In the abstract, Kindle has proven bold black on light, very light grey, works well too. That said, the lecturer, for a non-native English speaker is understandable. Not BETTER than understandable, but he gets there. As for the content, he seems to be building upwards well. Ergo, the one star better than average.
By Robert McCall on 3/30/2017
The course is good, but often trying to go too quickly for someone who is brand new to this material. It needs more examples that give real applications for the concepts used, not just showing some queries on data that the student does not have or need.
