I learned a lot in this course. Actually more that I expected. I came in to the course knowing for sure what franchise I wanted but the course gave me a lot to think about and look into to help determine the right franchise for me. The only down side is that the video just stopped out of no where on each section at least once. I had to fast forward a few seconds to get it going again. The informational slides were a little small but that could just be my old eyes. Other than that I enjoyed all the information and can't wait to utilize what I have learned when it is time.

There is some good food for thought, but a lot of it seems like common sense / dumbed-down (though obviously the course doesn't feel like this for everyone). The value couldn't be beaten! I would have paid $600+ dollars on a weekend tutorial like this, but this was far more convenient and I can continue to reference it.

I have managed businesses with multiple locations and now I'm taking the plunge to start my own. What I like about this course is that it's filled with things I didn't even know existed, the advice is practical, the instructor breaks it all down and makes it clear and easy to follow. I definitely recommend it.

I have done a lot of research on buying a business vs buying into a franchise and I was pretty convinced that this course might be filled with information I already new, but It wasn't. There was quite a bit of info that was completely new to me and what was really great is that he actually shows you how to start with just an idea (I had no idea what type of franchise I was interested when I started) and take it all the way finding the type of franchise you might actually want to own and then he literally shows you how to break the business down to see if it's the right business. There's not a lot of fluff in the course and I recommend if you are taking it, that you jot down notes.

I think i could be a franchisee here now, Detailed and knowledgeable, explain it well and the performance is very good. most of the legality are applicable to the US, But maybe somewhere as same as united states that's only the difference, maybe he can added international overall is great move on search for a franchise lets go

For new entrepreneurs or anyone with limited or no experience with franchising, this course is a good introduction. It provides valuable insight into some pros and cons to consider before selecting a franchise. The instructors encourage entrepreneurs, whenever possible, to probe deeply into the operations of the franchisor. Additionally, the instructors encourage potential franchisees to take a realistic view of the financial obligation (both personal and business) required for start-up and continuous operations. The explanations, comparative examples, and thought processes helped me understand the amount of due diligence required to create a list of potential franchisors. Their ultimate objective is for you to understand that purchasing the "right franchise for you" is the goal.

1. Very basic information so far. Nothing to feel that I received special information. 2. The sound is quite bad. I am not sure if this is problem with the instructor or the sound is very low quality. 3. Several slides were frozen wile the audio is on. The only field where you can feel that the instructor has knowledge is financing. He has background in financing institutions so here the course is deeper, but all of the rest is I must say bellow the average. According to my believes this should not be paid course and certainly not with this ratings. This make me wonder how much Udemy is reliable. The part that frustrating the most is that this is the course only for US market. The examples are from there, the materials are from there and if you are not interested to buy franchise from US, don't bother even to consider attending this course.

This is a really practical course. It provides the confidence and knowledge to find a franchise and go through the process to owning one. This course stands out to me because it not only covers the business side but also addresses the emotional aspects of taking the brave steps to becoming a business owner. Some of the content is focused on the US market, but most of it applies to my market in Australia. I am looking forward to using this fountain of knowledge to finally becoming a business owner.

I am so glad I found this course! It is like having a personal business coach walk me through the process to find and buy a franchise. This course stands out because it not only thoughtfully covers the objective aspects, like types of financing, but also "holds your hand" through the emotional aspects. The emotional side is so important, but rarely discussed. I finally feel confident reading an FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document). The instructors have been there and done it--so they speak from experience. If you are considering investing in a franchise, I highly recommend this course becomes your personal business coach. It is now mine.
