very clear and crisp. thank you! I think some more nuanced features on git would be helpful for example instead of "git branch newbranch" showing the option "git checkout -b newbranch"

Yes, I am a data scientist in R and this was really clearly and nicely explained.

Perfect training material and the way it was presented is just superb for a professional like me coming back into IT after a gap of 6+ years. Thank you very much Brett Hooper for putting this material together in a concise and fast learning manner and importantly injecting confidence for a comeback professional.

Clarity of concepts and good slides

Great course. Very simple to follow. Before this course, I had tried learning it on my own and from co-workers, and kept getting confused. This course provided the "lightbulb moment" I was looking for. And it only took about a half day to get there. Thanks!

This course was amazing. I learned SOOOOO much. The way Brett instructed the course was likebeing in a classroom with him. Anytime I started to have a question, he answered it in the lecture! He was very experienced in all subjects and spoke at a pace where you could follow easily. BY far the best course so far. He also threw a little humor into the moix to keep things engaging!

I highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to understand everything from basic Git commands to how to use Git and Github in a team environment. The instructor explains everything clearly and simply using real-world scenarios. There is an appropriate amount of repetition and the scenarios are well suited to demonstrate each concept.I especially appreciated the section on working in a team environment and how merging, branching and pull requests work.Thank you for the great course!

Top notch training! Clearly stated with excellent visuals. The last of 4 sections missed the mark. Pages.Github, C9/etc. integrations have no impact on my life. More GitHub info like working with projects, wikis and issues would have provided more appropriate information. Still excellent training.

PROSThe course was very good. The instructor obviously knew the subject matter very well. This course was on GIT & GITHUB. I now feel comfortable with being able to begin the process of working with GIT.This was the reason I opted for this course over the others and I was not disappointed with my selection. The only cons...Not sure when this course was created but pushing a new branch did not work as presented in the video. Trying to push the new branch with just git push... did not work.... ( this was how the tutorial said to do it ) I had to use.... git push --set-upstream origin about-featureAnd, the only other thing that was missing was.... pulling down a previous commit. I am not sure how to access a previous version of my code. I'll be googling for this now and can't imagine it will be too hard but it would have been a soup to nuts tutorial if this was part of it.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this course.Thank you very much,Sincerely,Bob McClellan

Very good course a couple of place where I got lost and I remain sketchy on some aspects of the github processes.

This course is very nice, precise, provides enough basics to start working with Git, GitHub

Very helpful if you only have some insights in GitHub, but never really used it! (or failed to do so...) Thanks :-)
