I didn't get any benefit from doing this course I thought it was rubbish and a waste of money! I was not impressed and would not recommend it to anyone!

To me this so far is the most valuable course of his. He shares lots of insights and gives guidance to many techniques to market our stuff online. I now have a pretty good concept of what and how to start with, and I am sure I will come back to the course in a while to recap the next steps and move on. On top of that Chris is a very motivating guy that I can relate to due to his authenticity, although a little less self-marketing would be ok, too, at times ;)

I got this on sale amd finished it. For the price I feel like I just robbed someone! What makes this a good buy for me is seeing soemone who is actually making it happen. There's a big difference between reading this info on some website vs seeing proof that it can be done. This gives me motivation to not give up. This guy is not blowing smoke out his hole for sales. There is real conetent here where he shows you on screen how to do and what works. Best purchase ever. Please keep making these videos on udemy.

It is a good attempt to summarise what it takes for a musician to sell own stuff digitally (and it also provides some useful insights into the music business offline). What could take it to the next level (as a professional management consultant I can see it very clearly) is more structure and comprehensiveness within actually all topics covered and better structure of the course, overall. Still very usefull (at least, for an absolute beginner as myself) - big respect to the author! Wish you all the best in your career!

WOW! Great instructor from someone who's been through it all. Really opened my eyes on the steps to take to making the transition into music as my full-time career. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE making music, and sharing it with the world - couldn't see myself as anything else but an artist. I personally owe all my thanks to Manafest. Thanks bro, you're great. Overall he seems like a really nice guy, I just don't think the paid lecture is worth the money. Seems like another way for him to monetize his fanbase. The Volume is all over the place, barely audible one video and blowing out my headphones the next. Normalize the audio. Quality and prep of videos is lacking. Likely recorded on just a mac book webcam and mic. A bunch of these Videos are up for free on other websites like youtube and skillshare. I was hoping to get more content by paying. If I'm paying for access to something I expect others to have to pay for it as well. If you want to diversify, make something completely different smaller one for free and send them to the big version on Udemy. Should talk more about other options than Tunecore/CD Baby/Shopify, like OneRPM, Distrokid, Woo Commerce etc. Big push for his "university" on the last video, selling the next lecture shouldn't be a part of the current lecture.

I feel like I was pretty lucky to learn about Udemy during a week that almost all courses were on sale. I spent hours watching demos, finally deciding to purchase every course by Chris Greenwood. I had no idea who he was, or how successful Manafest is, but something about his teaching style really connected with me. This was the best investment into a course that I've ever made, and I can't wait to continue taking the rest of his courses. Chris is very informative and easy to follow. He keeps the content to the point and interesting, shares his real income numbers with you, and clearly knows exactly what he's talking about. Any independent artist at any level can find value in this course. Thanks Chris!

An excellent intro course for musicians who don't know much about using social media to promote their music. The course has lots of hands-on demonstrations on various web sites. Also lots of other practical advice (build a big catalog of music, think long term, play live gigs, keep the ownership of your song rights). The instructor is a professional musician with major label contracts. Clearly the guy practices what he preaches. He recorded some of these lectures on his laptop in his hotel room while he was on tour! My only criticism - and it is a minor criticism - is that the audio of the course wasn't mastered (some of the videos were very loud, others very quiet).
