Course Description
Hello and Welcome!
I just showed you this sailing boat, because what I will teach you in this course will literally push forward your frontend development.
Maybe you heard already that with TailwindCss you can develop beautiful and unique websites and interfaces very rapidly.
But the most important advantage for me is, that you do not have to create endless stylesheets for adapting your website for different screen sizes.
For example if you want to apply a class only for large screen sizes and above you just add a “lg:” to the class that you are using.
My name is Martin and I've been using CSS and Frameworks like Bootstrap on a professional level for a very long time.
I have to tell you - for me - TailwindCss is indeed a small revolution in web development.
In Fact with TailwindCss you are combining the advantages of normal CSS with the advantages of frameworks like Bootstrap.
In this course I will show you the Ins and Outs of how to install, configure and in many examples how to apply TailwindCss.
We will do responsive Layouts, Animations and much more.
Furthermore I will give you a short introduction into alpine.js, which is also revolutionary, when it comes to easily triggering behavior like animations in your web design.
I will provide you with the full source code for every step we do in this course, as well as some useful cheat sheets - that will help you remember later what you learned.
This course is not very long, I want to really urge you to invest a weekend or several evenings to do this course and to learn something, that is a lot of fun, and something that will definitely play a very important role in web development in the 2020’s.
I look very much forward seeing you in this amazing course!

Hey guys, I have been doing web programming with PHP for almost 21 years now!
I worked for everything from very small companies up to global players (including BMW, Siemens, Linde). I know how it is to work for a fancy startup and how it is to work for a very conservative place. I know how it is to do a regular job, but I also know the freelancer life very well.
Time to have some fun and teach you some very interesting and useful stuff! There is so much going on out there in the web development world and I want share my experience - old and new - with you.
All the best
Martin

Thank you for all the effort that you've put into this course, but I really think that you can do it better. The structure of this course is not so suitable from my side because the configuration should be added at the beginning of a project to understand better how it works behind the scenes. Also, I would like to see a bigger project. It might be a 4 pages website with a catchy and friendly design. Anyway, I really appreciate your effort, thanks for that!

As a web developer with almost 8 years of CSS under my belt, I was expected to pick up TailwindCSS fairly easily on a new project. This was, unfortunately, not happening for whatever reason. In fact, after a week of hitting my head against the wall, I was starting to despise Tailwind and everything it stood for... but instead of giving up, I decided I probably just wasn't looking at it from the right angle, and decided to start from the beginning and take this course. I'm very glad I did. Martin is a very pleasant and knowledgeable teacher, and though some topics I didn't need to worry about so much with all my past experience, on the topics I did need, it was like the resistance in my brain RE: TailwindCSS just melted away under his simple, step-by-step coaching. I feel entirely confident on the Tailwind project I'm on now, and I'm even enjoying this framework—a huge change over the last couple days! Can't recommend this enough.

It was good, and I got some useful things out of it. However there were some significant shortcomings, which if addressed, would make this course so much greater: 1. The "mini project" is really just a very basic single page. I expected something more elaborate here, so I was a bit disappointed. It doesn't necessarily need to be anything more, but it's good to set the right expectations. 2. Section 4 (Complete mini project) was my least favourite part of the course. It quickly got quite repetitive. A lot of time is spent repeating and redoing the same or similar things over and over. 3. The course is not complete(!). The last lecture of the course literally says "coming soon...". 4. I think the course assumes a decent amount of knowledge about Flexbox, Flex grid etc, since the author never really explains much how they work but just skims through it. I would love to see a bit more discussion about the _why_ behind the CSS that's written some times. It's nothing that can't be solved by not pausing the video and going to look for the answers yourself though. Overall I enjoyed this course, and it was worthwhile to take it for me. I just believe that with a little more love and care it could go from "good" to "great" pretty easily.

Excellent course! I not only learned what I needed about Tailwind, but also picked up some general CSS knowledge along the way. I work with Tailwind every day and I cannot recommend this course enough. Many of the more experienced developers on my team told me that I would be able to just 'pickup' Tailwind, but after a few months of frustration, I finally cracked and decided to take this course. Martin explains the trickier parts of TailwindCSS well and never moves too fast. By the end, you are guaranteed to feel much more confident working with Tailwind.

Thanks Martin Eberth for such a great course. I really loved the enthusiasm with which you taught tailwind css. Enjoyed the course. Also, thanks for those VS Code extensions, tried them out and they were super helpful. I think to consume all the knowledge shared in the course, I will have to spend some good time practicing Tailwind CSS. Thanks again :)

Being from MFC/C++ background; GUI in HTML, CSS, and JS is a little off-topic thing for me. This course made my day. Martin, you have curated this course like you are teaching to a 5-year-old kid and this is great for learning new things. This course helped me to climb on tailwind CSS at the fastest pace possible. It also helped me to brush up my HTML, CSS conceptually to finish my first electron project. Thank you, Martin. You are wonderful.

I really enjoy Martin's lectures and I he does not waste your time. He is obviously very upbeat and that is something you don't always get in technical lectures. PROS: I am confident that I can create Tailwind CSS based applications at an advanced level with information I learned in the class. CONS: not many, finish whatever you are going to do with the final lectures on Grid system. Thanks Martin!

When we learn "how" is taken for granted because that's the purpose of learning but "why" is a bonus. Martin has taken effort to explain the why also which I liked most about the course. This course is a good primer on Tailwind. One thing I would suggest is to teach about wireframing of a website using grid and flex. that would make this course more helpful.

Another excellent course by Martin Eberth. Focused, practical, packed with useful information to get one jump started with Tailwind CSS on a production project. The pdf hand outs save a lot of time. No time wasted copying trivial text from the screen or taking notes and you get a useful reference for future projects on your own. Joyful delivery again. Thanks.

The course is pretty good, but too short. There's not much I learned from it, but what I learned was great, like Alpine.js or some tricks shared by author. It fell short, because I was looking for some navigation, or maybe the foundations for a dashboard. Martin says he'll be updating the course, and I'll really wait for it. I love this style, and he's exremely clear, if only could add those topics: navigation, dashboard, forms, and that kind of stuff course would be 5
