Course Description

This TCP/IP course was produced to give students a better understanding of this essential protocol suite.

This course is geared toward those who need a precise and concise explanation of IPs. It is meant to give students the knowledge needed in a networking and/or IT environment.

This course will guarantee the student’s understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite and give them an advantage when taking a test, certification, or working in the field.

This course will guide students through the whole TCP/IP process, and they will understand how to put it into practice, whether it's at their current job, future job, and/or when taking a certification exam.

This course was made to teach that and ensure that the subject covered here is up to date and relevant not only to the real world but also for certification and/or exam purposes.

However, students will need to practice and practice over and over again to attain proficiency, as this will help to make sure the concepts taught are embedded in the frontal lobe of each individual to be accessed in any situation and at anytime that it is needed.

Ultimately, it is up to the individual student to take responsibility and charge of their studies to succeed!

I'm only a third of the way through this course but I just want to say how much I love the way that Lazaro presents it and how informative and up front he is about TCP/IP, the do's and don'ts. Fantastic course so far. Update: finished this course and it was brilliant. Brilliantly informative and well presented.

+ Very well organized, well structured, and well presented, with all slides provided as downloadable. + Very good content. - I recommend someone taking this course to first lookup TCP/IP on google as an overview to make it easier to follow along. - I Would have liked to see more of the acronyms spelled out, some terms a little better explained, and more about sub-netting

Laz is always an amazing instructor. Easy to listen to, he has good pacing and communication skills. He makes the information easy to digest and not boring.

Unique and interesting teaching style, I actually learned some things. However him standing in front of the presentation made it difficult to see. If the goal is to teach us, let us read what you put up for us to read. Yes, you have an amazing body Lazaro, but it's way too distracting and defeats the purpose of teaching professionally.

The course was paced fairly well but I found the lecturer's style very distracting. There were lots of references to situations and scenarios that I had no experience of. I get the impression that this course is aimed at network technicians looking to formalize their experience.

You can see that Lazaro has lots of real-world experience and knows what he is talking about. The videos seemed to be a bit disjointed to me and never flowed from one topic to another, they were jumping from one point to the next then back again. Lazaro grew on me the more videos I watched and I understood his sense of humour more after a few videos. I am glad i took the time to do this course.

Lazaro Diaz has a way of explaining the field of Networking in a way that is simply easy to remember. I used to watch his YouTube channel but the second I found out that he posts online courses in Udemy I had to watch this course and I'll watch more courses featuring him later on. Soon I'll start going to college and I'm counting on him for help with my CCNA(and CCNP in due time). I thank him for his help so far and for the help to come. Best Regards, Rom.

Well explained by trainer, good content. Great clarity on display and talk. The only problem is that the trainer comes in the way of the text on presentation so it makes it hard to read. Although it was an excellent presentation, I missed out to understand the very fundamental question I had at the start of the presentation - "Why only 4 octets for an IPv4, why not 5, why not 3, etc. I know it's crazy question".

It is really bothering that the instructor is standing in front of the slides all the time and you are unable to focus on what is written behind. I believe it would be much better if he would be in an separate little window and make certain notes in real time on the slides with some real examples.

By Jeanne Broadwell on 10/9/2017

Animated instructor provides a good introduction to TCP/IP. There were a couple typos on the slides which he corrected during the lecture. This is not a comprehensive course but it's enjoyable, short and sweet.
