I was new to Bootstrap, and this gave me what I needed; a great overview in a short amount of time. Unfortunately, it is for Bootstrap 4.0 Alpha, and some things changed between Alpha and Beta. Now that Beta is out, not sure why we would want to learn the out of date release. But about 95% of the information is the same. Just had to lookup the differences, but that was time-consuming.

By Ben Taylor on 9/12/2017

Have only started the basics but things aren't working. Like offset, push, pull or hidden. Is this obsolete already? I'm using beta version of Bootstrap 4 not alpha but its broken. Its a pity as the course is well presented. But i'm not learning how to use it at all except how to use the row and column class. So its pointless to me

Presentation is poor. Presenter sometimes appears unsure of how to do the task. There are issues with content being displayed on screen, the mouse pointer is not visible to show what is being done, there is a lack of direction on where to find additional options, etc.

By Jean-Pierre Schoch on 3/18/2017

I downgraded this course from 4 to 3 stars. While the first half (sections 2 and 3) is fairly useful, I was quite disappointed by the second part (sections 4 and 5). The tweaks and tips in section 4 are simplistic. Hardly any added value. Section 5 is fairly light, it repeats information from 2 and 3 and dos not bring any new value. Furthermore, as soon as I tried to apply what I learned to building a real website with Bootstrap, I ran into difficulties, going back to the online Bootstrap documentation, and realizing that what I had learned did not really go beyond what the online doc was providing, although it does provide a more structured presentation useful for a beginner.

Was a great course to get you started with Bootstrap. Instructors were very clear and easy to understand, somewhat fast paced but a lot of information was covered. The timing of completing this course was perfect, we're currently bootstraping our existing site and now after completing this I fully understand and am able to easily work with our front end guys.

Great course, explains stuff in detail, create your own files and follow along and try out all the different options as you go and you will learn it pretty easy. The only thing I have noticed is that the instructor uses way too many divs, divs for classes where he could have put the class in the previous element and it would do the same with less code

By Mirko Tebaldi on 1/9/2017

Very clear, good pace. I prefer the project approach than the tutorial/reference approach used by this course, but Bootstrap itself it's a toolbox and so this is right for me. In some point, the disorder in the source code is a bit disappointing, but this doesn't reduce the course validity

By Jan-Willem van Helvoirt on 1/6/2017

Bootstrap is not the most complicated stuff there is but very powerful. The instructor shows the ease and power of Bootstrap very well with clear explanations of several Bootstrap components. The last chapter (Building a website from scratch using Bootstrap) seems to be a bit superfluous i.m.h.o. It doesn't add that much to the previous chapters. Thanks for this nice course!

By David Nard on 12/22/2016

I'm about 45% through this series. So far it's been a great resource. I'm a backend guy who hasn't done frontend dev since HTML4 days, so this is good for picking up the syntax and basics of Bootstrap. I have noticed a handful of places where the information presented was incorrect. The presenter did correct those mistakes but it would have been nice to have had them edited out in the first place (there's some places with reference to bootstrap-3 specific classes). But that's pretty minor. Overall I'd recommend.

By William Julian Burd on 11/8/2016

Intelligently presented in a practical way that makes sense in real world applications. Very professionally constructed course so far. Thorough attention is given to concepts, but at a pace that doesn't ever get boring or repetitive. I will be taking more courses with these instructors.
