The Complete Bootstrap Masterclass Course - Build 4 Projects (Udemy.com)

As a beginner in using html, bootstrap, and jquery, I expected it to be more informative on how the instructor does things. I.e. the way he used notepad to use the CDN of the applications, I had to google it to understand how to do it from the beginning. I didn't know there was something called notepad++, which is very useful to know when following the instructor. I would like to learn more about the html language and its syntax what each symbol means etc. Overall it's a challenge and I'm up for a challenge ^-^

The course is starting from the basic level, but had no fluff and moved along very well. I liked watching the programmer's thinking during the creation process, though sometimes it was not clear to me what the programmer was trying to create until he had made it. I also found it very helpful that mistakes were not edited out so that I can understand how the formatting works when it is not done correctly. Definitely recommend.

It's great. few things that bothered me: 1. the instructor assumed that I created a "bootstrap" folder on my desktop and an index.html in it. but there was no step that asked me to do this. that was confusing. 2. the bootstrap and jquery versions have changed since the course was created. this should be addressed by the instructor

Did not cover all Bootstrap cotent and the projects did not provide images. Before the start of a project there was no preview of what we were supposed to create. Language and speech of the instructor was not very clear. Instructor made a lot of mistakes while teaching which consumed time and was at times confusing.

The course is so amazing and understandable. The instructor explains full details with step by step. I have learned many new things from this course. I highly recommend this course to everyone who wants to become a web designer . I would like to say thank you to Joe Parys and Shahzaib Kamal. Have a great time!

The course is broken into two main components: - Bootstrap Tools and Elements - A series of 4 projects. Bootstrap Tools and Elements The course runs through the main points of Bootstrap and covers it well enough. One caveat - coverage of the Bootstrap Grid system is minimal and this is a pity because this is the backbone of Bootstrap. 4 Projects This section is poor quality and the projects are very basic. Examples: Photo Gallery Project Section 3 > Lecture 45 Carousel of images with a grey bar on the right hand side is not "perfect" as the teacher suggests. In general, the teacher fixes errors & changes direction as he codes with little explanation. He seems to be coding "on the fly". It would have been better if he built the pages OFF camera first and then repeated the build ON camera after he finalized how best to do it. E-commerce project Section 5 > Lecture 52 This is very, very confusing with a lot of chopping and changing. Also, some coding practices are questionable in the projects section: Examples: - The use of the break tag to add space under an element. This should be done by adding a style. - The use of inline styles This should be done by adding a style. Overall, while the projects are poor, the course is OK to become familiar with Bootstrap elements and that is why I give it 2 stars. Even though other students have asked about this, the course still provides NO resources or completed code to download. I think calling it "The Complete Bootstrap Masterclass Course" is not really accurate. I got the course on sale so will not be looking for a refund.

The course is organized very well. First step developing basic theoretical concepts about Bootstrap and then quickly way get to work showing and working projects very useful. I hope sincerely this course can be continue to their projects with new features and improvements and get advanced Bootstrap.

Overall this is a great course. I'd like to suggest one improvement that at the beginning of every project, there should be a sample of the end-product (probably a picture). That would help students to have an idea of what they'd learn to develop as well as proactively knowing what a specific code means or attempting to do it themselves before watching the tutorials. I think that little change will greatly improve our experience. Other than that, this course is really helpful. Thanks a lot!

When I started I had very little knowledge of how Bootstrap worked, and at the end of this course I can say that it really helps. I'm giving it 4 stars because I think most people want to learn bootstrap to make their websites both usable on desktops and mobile devices, but the projects you make in this course mostly only work on desktops, because if you make your browser the size of a smartphone, you'll see that things stack on top of each other, which is not the way it should be. Shahzaib Zamal (the instructor) is very understandable even though he has an accent, so don't worry about it.

I understand the accent and the difficulty in teaching in a second language, but Shahzaib really should slow down with the speech patterns. He does a good job with the language but goes very fast when talking. Also get away from using the term perfect so often, very few things in life are perfect. I would also recommend that you follow "Best Practices" when writing code. It is obvious you have a good deal of experience in designing web sites but using inline styling and and embedded styling should be avoided when using CSS. It tends to make sites difficult to maintain and has not been recommended for quite some time by the W3C. The subjects are covered well but are not complete. Slowing down and using different types of demonstrations would really help the viewers better understand what you are trying to cover.
