Just what I was looking for, some lessons feel really "slow". I understand it is for beginners but I have felt like a 12 year old at some point ! Anyways, good work :)

This course was a good beginner introduction to python and how it can be used within Kali Linux. It does take quite a big step from simple Python in the first half to a bit more complex Python in the scripts. Not all concepts are clearly explained but should be good enough for you to understand the basics.

By Syed Ghani on 10/1/2018

The course is in 2 parts: 1st part - a very slow paced introduction to Python programming 2nd part - a not very well thought out or designed course about Kali Linux and hacking... The only portion of Kali Linux that was used was the program called sqlmap. For a course that lays emphasis on Ethical Hacking, this is anything but. Also, the course is in severe need of refreshment.

The introductory sections in python are excellent, although a few of the slides are strange. One of them has a C++ code example, not python. The biggest gaps are not introducing the advanced concepts before he starts using them. Items that should be included: 1. How to install python modules 2. Description of the socket module 3. Explanation of what type of data is returned from the functions that are called, so we have a better understanding of how they are used 4. I would rather have a short lecture explaining the tools used than to watch the instructor type (badly in many cases). The Ethical hacking section is sorely lacking. In addition, many of the examples shown in Kali linux are using python2 not python3. This causes code errors if you follow the included examples.

I have been toying with the idea of learning Python for years and just never had the time to dedicate to the books and other online classes so when I found this one I was ready to jump right in. This cut out all the fluff and got right to the meat of Python which is the best way for me to learn. Now I can start making programs on my own and when I get stuck I have a clue as to what I am looking at and looking for.

I've teached programming and I know Python already ... we have good, clean and clear style teacher here. Logical progress, easy to follow to beginners, I'm quite sure of that.

This course was really good. The instructor was consistent and methodical in his presentation of the material. Content was pretty-much what I expected, based on the overview. My one feedback item would be, what seemed to me, a significant difference in the first half (introduction to Python) and the last half (pen testing with Python). The Python introduction covered many / most of the functions used during the pentesting portion, but there were some additional items that could have been addressed in the python portion that would have been helpful in the pentesting. Some examples include: try / except, and from "x" / import "y", among others. It just came as a bit of a surprise to go from the learning pace established in the python portion, to the expectations of the pentesting portion. It was almost as if there were some missing modules. Not a showstopper, just didn't expect it. It was still a great course.

because is very well explained, After trying different course in python and not finding one that explains in a manner that not only makes it easy to learn but bring you attention deep into the class while working along the learning material, finally I can say i found the right course and instructor that makes it easy to learn. Thank you

The course instruction is concise and simple to follow. Posted questions are promptly responded to. I look forward to completing this and more courses from the same instructor Syed. Perhaps, some downloadable exercise materials would be of value such as the locked .zip file etc.

By Kevin Cheathem on 11/1/2016

This course is laid out in a very easy to understand and follow manner. The information is very valuable for a noob like me. The Instructor keep the information simple and made it a pleasure to learn.
