I think it was a good experience to take this course.

Very good if you know nothing. Intermediate to advances - not of much use. I think I learned 2 things over 20+ lessons.

This course made me realize that I can learn how to use Access. I only need to practice more and more. Thanks a lot teacher!

On the plus side, the course goes into very much details, and it's very comprehensive.
On another hand, though: The way of presenting is rather boring, going through a lot of details, without adding too much value. For example, in presenting the Ribbon, the author starts reading the whole list of groups of icons in the toolbar. Who wants that? Also, the author presents very advanced examples, via the sample databases provided by Access, instead of starting with something simple. When going through the options, the author just reads what is written on the screen, without providing his real-life examples, what does he find interesting from the options.

The audio quality of the 2 ladies in Section 1 Lecture 2 was terrible. It was very difficult to understand them. A little slow for me. Instructor was not prepared properly for a course of this nature. For example "never run an action query until one tests it in view mode" - he ran one which changed several hundred records - that is not what one wants to teach students.

Honestly, I don't want to play down the effort the instructor use to put all these materials together, and there is always room for improvement. This was not what I expected when I paid for the course would like to get my refund.
Thanks

it was very good as start

I really enjoyed the course. I already knew a bit of access, and with help of this course, i learned enough in a few days to pass my MOS exam 77-424 today :).
If the "desktop services template.accdb" was added to the course (maybe a link to it), it would have been perfect. I had loved to do the examples of the teacher, with some variations now and then. Playing with that database would have made the lessons more effective.
