The instruction is really good. I'm brand new to iOS development and XCode so it would be nice if some of the navigation and selections were easier to see. Some of the navigation is off of the screen, so I had to pause while I figured out how to perform the task.

Not even explain the syntax of the language fully. very disappointed. if you are new to programming, this is not where you should start

Generally good, but leaves out a lot of needed explanation on Objective-C syntax. For example, what is the function of the 'alloc' and extra brackets in something like "[[UIDetailView alloc] init]". Or, why are variables/objects sometimes prefixed with an asterisk or an underscore or not and what's the difference?
It seems that the author is just typing in code from a pre-written script and doesn't care to provide details as to 'why', at least in many cases.

gives us bits and pieces of tricks that can be used, but definitely NOT a complete guide. Courses on iTunes U and edx are much more in depth and cost absolutely nothing.
