Thanks for the course, I am not even in the middle, but I am sure, I will make it to the end. I think if this would be live 1-1 training, it would be perfect, because the lector(s) seem to be really passionate and knowledgeable about the topic. But unfortunately the structure is a little bit chaotic, topics are repeated (for example file permissions) and I think it wouldn’t be so difficult to fix or repeat parts of the video where is some command invalid because of a typo. Given the total length of the course it would be beneficial. In general I think the course could shrink to maybe two thirds, if the structure would be better. Anyway, I still recommend to watch the course, I think I have already learned a lot from it.

A lot of information gaps. One step guides to do thing A then suddenly in next topic it appears that you should have done thing B. Super confusing and requires you to constantly stop the video and dig through google to find stuff which is not explained on the go. Wouldn't recommend if you want to smoothly learn things from scratch.

Very informative, but I need to study study study and review daily I did not know there was so much to learn so much to retain but you instructors need to be commended for the strict importance to detail, Good Job all of you!

Yes, iam not technical side candidate i want to change my profession most of the topics you provided is easy to understand. But little bit support is needed from your side you not responded Little bit instructions to be added like PUTTY to be installed how it be and how it to be connect properly

It is good, but should maybe go more into details in some areas...especially regarding the first lecture...only CentOS is mentioned as recommended Linux OS when installing as server, I would have expected Debian (Stable) and maybe even Slackware to be mentioned as free stable alternatives to CentOS too...and that also RHEL and SUSE Linux Enterprise (SLE) to be mentioned too as the most popular commercial (paid/non-free) server systems...but otherwise it has been good so far...

This was my first course back after about 20 years of taking my computer geek hat off. I found it easy to use and understand and the material covered complemented subjects I was learning from other sources simultaneously very well. For the amount paid, you're getting a lot of practical information that I feel builds a strong foundation for further exploration/practice/development.

I like the fact that the course was comprehensive. It covered all of the essential things that a Linux Administrator would need to know. Some of the videos were a bit long, so it took a extra level of concentration to complete them. Maybe those videos could be divided into few parts. Overall the course was good. I think that this might be the best and most comprehensive Linux course on Udemy.

It's a quite comprehensive course and a good source to go back to when required. Goes to the length of dealing with webservers and security aspects, and how to implement. Newer systemd and firewalld included. The sound quality is mediocre at best and the dialects are not helping, some tutors are better to understand than others. The resource downloads are "functional". The course has labs although only for chapters in the beginning and I wished there had been more. Those are the drawbacks in my view and the reason for not getting 5 stars. I am still happy with the purchase as the course provides a wealth of information, how to apply it and reason.

Instructor is pretty clear and direct to the point. I have zero knowlege with linux before and after this I feel really confident in using linux OS. I even installed ubuntu in my pc and use linux OS on my hosting and because of this course I can use linux and putty and all the command I learned. Thank you very much
