Benim tam da aradığım bir kurstu. Birine Türkçe öğretmek istesem bu tarz bir yol izlerdim. Kısa sürede kendi cümlelerimi kurabildim, ufak tefek hatalar oldu tabii ki yine de başlangıçta çok doğal. Öğrendikten sonra uygulamak değil de öğrenme sırasında bilgiyi uygulatan/uygulayabilen bir kurs arıyordum. Duolingo ile A2 seviyesine kadar geldim. Onu da cümleyi anlayıp kendim sesli olarak kağıda yazıyordum. B1 seviyesi için de bu kurs can simidi oldu. Tabii ki bu kurs, sıradan cümleler ve biraz kitap cümleleri kuruyor. Bir kısmı da gündelik cümleler. Üstüne de ben koyacağım. Çeşitli kaynaklarla dört becerimi geliştireceğim. Bu kursun bitmesine de az kaldı. Course 3'ü bitirmek için de sabırsızlanıyorum.

once in a while I find myself researching why something is spoken as instructed. For example: Why do we say "mira a todos" and not "mira a todo el mundo." Fortunately, Microsoft Copilot is able to explain the difference to me. :) But it would be nice if that were explained in the course. I am at the intermediate level, course 2 presently (as I am sure you are aware), and will note when I find these situations and send them to you. --KH in New York Aside from that, the course has been interesting and fun. :)

I am extremely happy with this course. Peter Hanley advances slowly giving Grammatical points clearly and with repetitive diction. All easy to follow. Using my mobile it is difficult to follow written explanations as script is small ….. otherwise I find the lessons easily to absorb…. Thanks

I have worked my way up to intermediate level Spanish by studying on my own for a couple of years. I had taken some online proficiency courses online before signing up for this class. I repeatedly got classified as at the early intermediate level. So, I dropped into this intermediate level course very easily. The course isn't for beginners. I can express myself much more easily and accurately now. This is extremely important as I live in a Spanish speaking country!!!!!

This is my 6th course with El Método. I studied Spanish for about 2 or 3 years as a hobby, then let it go for about 3 years. I started learning again because I’m preparing for a year long trip around the world and 6 months of that will be spent in South America. Of all the resources I’ve used from Rosetta Stone to Duolingo and Tandem, this is one is the best. With a skill like language learning, repetition of content is one of the most important factors. The way that Peter layers and overlaps concepts from lesson to lesson is really excellent for this repetition on top of the video format. Sometimes I follow the suggested format of 3 lessons per day, but sometimes I do more and sometimes I do less. For particularly hard sections and for when I get really busy, I will stay on the same few lessons for a couple of weeks, listening as I run, commute to work, and do chores around the house. I really hope Peter comes out with an Advanced course. I recommend your courses to everyone I meet who wants to learn Spanish. Thank you so much Peter!

If you're looking for something fancy, you're not going to find that here. What this professor gives you is a method (Title: El Metodo go figure) that allows you to learn Spanish faster. It's very interesting how he does this and to me it takes someone who has a natural knack to teach this way. I liked how he'd smoothly throw in past lessons in another lesson to keep you up to par amongst many other subtle things in the program that keeps things sticking. My tip while taking this course is to watch movies in Spanish (you pick what type of subtitles you want) with the intention of seeing how much you understand to reinforce what you have already learned. I've bought or enrolled in many of the "highly rated" online courses and this one takes it for me when it comes to learning and speaking the language sooner. The other language courses (Duolingo, RocketSpanish, Pimsleur, even Baselang) didn't give me the confidence of speaking Spanish right away. Side note: NewsInSlowSpanish was a great beginner course as well, but I'd probably do that after completing the El Metodo beginner course first. Anyways, I live and work in an area with predominantly Spanish speaking people and while attending this course I found myself brave enough to start speaking Spanish to people. Today I have finally completed the course utilizing the method they recommended and am excited to see what other courses they come up with next. I am a forever student of the El Metodo for sure!

Excellent practice for verbal skills, nicely chunked grammatical content ( not too much or too little). Content is appropriate for this level of proficiency. The Método format is nicely structured, predictable & helps boost confidence in actually speaking & using Spanish in real life contexts. Plus it’s fun!

Overall, an excellent course building on the ones before it. Continues to give usable and easy to memorize structure to Spanish grammar. The male speaker's and female native speaker's voices contrast. Self-referential humor makes the learning more enjoyable. While there are a few typos, it doesn't distract significantly from the course as they're easily noted as typos. Also the lessons get more challenging as one has to mentally fill out the verb tables. Focuses on common grammatical structures in a natural way. At the rate these courses are going, I'd estimate they'd need to complete the "intermediate level" quartet and add 4 "advanced levels" to have a good overview of the language. I hope they continue to develop and refine this solid series.

Fantastic course! I've learned so much taking all of Peter Hanley's courses up to this point. I am looking forward to continuing my studies with the next two Intermediate courses with him. I absolutely recommend his learning techniques because they make it feel so effortless! Keep up the excellent courses, Peter!

The strenght of this course is not simply the suitability of its content and the deep memorization you can get from hearing and repeating sentences but also the advices provided all along the lessons. Following two of them (watching short spanish video and speaking to myself on anything that could happen in my daily life) was very helpful to me.
