React practice course, learn by practicing (Udemy.com)

Great course and very fun projects! It makes you want keep coding! The only reason I am giving 3 stars is if you happen to face with a problem and ask questions you get zero respond! I asked so many question but none was answered. I know it is impossible to answer all the questions but it would be great to have some developer student who might help us, like many other instructors do it this way.

Fernando is very good at teaching concepts and helping you understand what is going on. He takes the time to explain everything. However, I feel like some of the things that he does is over-engineered and could be done in a much simpler way. Sometimes the videos drag on for too long and you lose concentration. He also waffles about nothing at points. The first 2 projects were great and well structured, but when it got to the third, the content was great we built some really cool stuff with great features, but the folder structure and naming conventions are a bit all over the place. Overall I am very happy and would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to advance their React & Node skills

This was my 3rd course on React, so by the time I got to this one I was starting to grasp the concepts, but not everything had "clicked in place" for me yet. This course really made all the dots connect for me, and I was able to go on to work on fairly complex applications as a developer in the "real world". Building the 3 applications in the course really made it easy to connect the theory to the practical aspects of actually implementing meaningful projects. Although questions do not get answered by the author of the course, I would highly recommend this course to anyone trying to learn React. Really nicely done!

Excellence. Covering such large projects is daunting and maybe even hard to stick with over the duration of the course, but the fact is that you are getting experience bringing together a complete project which has great value. The instructor has added so much to this course I almost feel bad for choosing this as my freebie on Black Friday. Well worth the money. I've had so many take aways and real world applications of this material already, easily one the best Udemy experiences Ive had so far.

that was extremely valuable course. didnt even expect this kind of quality. immediately bought mern stack course from francis. some of the code is exceptionally elegant and well thought. lots of great decisions you may not think about yourself. this course also helped me to put in order some of the messy stuff inside my head. just keep in mind that this course is not suited for absolute beginners of react.

The instructor built a lot of stuff on the course projects without really explaining why things were built as they were. A lot of stuff remained unfinished, e.g. error handling is missing in many places. Instead of the previous, I would have liked to see one project really well built, and concepts and the whys explained in detail. This should not be your first React course.

I've learned a lot through this course. I think this course is not for the absolute React beginner, but it's a great course for someone who has some experience with React. The instructor has 3 projects in this course and the 3rd one is the greatest and related to e-commerce project which I needed. He is funny and he led me to the video on youtube name "reverse auntie" which is the most funny part. Highly Recommend This Course !

The instructor explains the basics of React and E6 very clearly. I haven't gotten to the bigger practical projects yet, but I am very happy with the React for Web Mini-Course. It is not mini. It is very thorough. I am looking forward to the practical project section. Update: I have started the Waves project which is project 3 and I am quite impressed and amazed at how thorough and straightforward the instructor is at explaining the ins and outs of every aspect of full stack development, from setting up MongoDB, creating the server logic, setting up the models, explaining login and passwords, and on and on and on, on top of React fro the front end. I am very impressed. This is one of the best courses I have taken on Udemy.

Ok here we go, what can I say, I love this course simply because it has exactly what I needed, what to make your own ecomerce site with react and the MERN stack? you got it, what to learn nodemailer, file uploader, password reset , send emails to those who have registered or reset the password , or emails to those who purchased from your site, animations real world projects , how to have a user and admin set up, css transitions how to use css transitions to save time from doing your own css animations, how to use 3rd party libraries to save you time, you have it all here, this course is for those who have been using react but needed to fill in the gaps because of other courses that do not cover the real world scenarios , Code Rev gets 5 stars from me, I have both his react courses and his Native react as well, keep up the good work!

Very good course so far. It has the merit to be different from all the other React courses I follow here on Udemy (and I am enrolled in a bunch of courses). It does not seem as popular as some other courses, but I am not afraid to say that what I learned so far feel more real-world, professional and useful for an upcoming freelancer or a junior developer. Projects in this course are more convincing and solid to display. 1 project uses Firebase and the other one uses the MERN stack. I have a decent knowledge in React/Redux/Express/Node but this course offers many new stuff to learn (especially in term of UI design)

If you get it for $11, it's fine. You will learn a lot of animation and icon techniques (there are better and easier techniques out there), and you will definitely get basic React and Redux practice. If you are here for the e-commerce app though, you will not have an app ready for production or portfolio -- unless your potential employer isn't paying attention. Lots of bugs, routes that are not RESTful, variables named poorly, overcomplicated code, and worst of all, **zero** replies to any questions you might have. Still, if you already know best practices and you want what's listed in the first sentence, for $11 it's worth a buy.
