All of Colt's courses are very good, one is always in good hands with him. At the time of writing, there were a couple of instances where a follow-on video was promised which did not appear until later (I have only looked at the Midjourney videos so far) , but I put this down to the course being an early draft which will gain polish as time goes on. Overall, I got what I wanted from the course. If you want to get a handle on Midjourney/Chat GPT quicker than you otherwise might, this a good way of getting there.

Colt is exceptional at getting the information across - I love the passion. The course is very well done, and I like its two parts - ChatGPT & Midjourney. I did this course over the weekend. I felt more info was given over Midjorney, but having said that, I intend to go through ChatGPT again because I was a complete beginner and didn't take any notes; I'm sure there's some I've already forgotten. Take some notes; it doesn't need to be paragraphs, just keywords, because there's a lot to take in, especially if ChatGPT is new to you. Colt has another course called 'Mastering OpenAI Python APIs: Unleash ChatGPT and GPT4', which I have already purchased, and once I have put these together, I'm sure I will be a ChatGPT GrandMaster. There are several aspects of MidJourney that I was hoping to hear about that weren't covered in this course. (Especially the /describe feature) The course mostly felt like Colt going through the MJ docs and running prompts in real time to demonstrate. I've done MANY of Colts courses in the past so I was sort of disappointed but it was still informative and ultimately my MJ images have improved as a result of taking the course.

From the beginning, I considered that far from the typical ChatGPT marketing course, the most appropriate thing instead was to look for an instructor with a better understanding of the technological subject, given the nature of the language model. From my own experience with other courses that I have been taking with Colt, I know for sure that he is not only a great instructor and expert in the field of programming, but also quite funny.

Colt’s instruction is very good. He’s a non-pretentious developer speaking to developers of varying skill levels. As a somewhat skilled developer, I didn’t learn many new things but Colt did confirm issues I had discovered about the limitations of ChatGPT. The most important discovery from this series are Colt’s teachings about ‘iterative’ development— one must have patience and retry prompts using varied approaches.

I only took this course because of the instructor. He's enthusiastic about the topics he teaches, but not so enthusiastic that you worry he's going to try to sell you some Amway products. I mostly wanted to learn more about the uses of ChatGPT, which was explained clearly. I continued with the section on Midjourney, although I have never shown much interest in anything artistic. I do see a lot of value in it after completing the course, enough that I expect to sign up for the least expensive level.
