Very comprehensive and to the point I need. It was a fantastic trip for a beginner like myself and I´m sure to return to several times to some chapters. And, last and but not least my site speed went from very poor to 100% in Page speed insigths, 80 in Pingdom and much better results in GTMetrix and WebPageTest. I considered a 4 star for only one reason, and it´s an important one: There are several materials that are outdated. Instantclick plugin is not updated in the past 7 years for example. Cloudfare has a very different dashboard, and so on. It would be great you could update the course and its materials at some point. you.

This course gave me a very good first impression. I have learned ton of performance optimizations that you can do on WordPress. Unfortunately, I think the course is too outdated to provide good improvements to your performance, especially regarding the render-blocking CSS section and the Autoptimize plugin. I have tried every possible combination of this plugin, I never got the results that I expected. There are also lots of plugins mentioned in this course that were not updated and tested with current WordPress versions. Sometimes it kind of breaks your websites or your WordPress admin dashboard. That's a pity, otherwise great course.

Thoroughly enjoyed this course, and would suggest an absolute must for anyone trying to get a website optimised the right way. The brief is a clear outline... preamble, overviews and quizzes on each chapter and the exercises become more granular detailing specifics facets pit falls and benefits of most options during the walk through. Most of the topics discussed in the course were applicable and working. I felt sleepy while watching most of the topics of this course so a little energy and dynamics on the AJ's side might be helpful. Overall, time and money spent on this course is worth it. Thanks AJ.

There are times that the instructor keeps repeating itself way too many times. He goes "and again..." which makes the videos too long. All these videos can be much shorter if he gets to the point and explains everything in a better way that does not require for him to say the same thing over and over again! Other then that its a good source of knowledge.

A J provides an interesting and engaging course, that is both in depth, and easy to assimilate in bite sized chunks...not too much in one sitting! He has always responded to my questions in a timely manner,and also,in a friendly and helpful way as well:) This has been the most enjoyable of all the courses that I have taken on this site,not just because of the topic,but because of the way A J has structured and implemented it:) This review/rating is long overdue...I have just realized that I had not left a rating/review...oops,sorry A.J:( Thanks very much for all your hard work in setting up this most excellent course:)

After page and broswer caching modules, increased speed of site from 15secs to 4 seconds. Looking forward to next few modules to see further improvement. Some of the instructions are for earlier of plugins and cloudflare, so options were different.

It help me fix many issues, on my site, I would have to pay plenty Money to fix, it teach me how to optimization WordPress, the right way. Very pleased with course and know it will be useful. Not only was the content great, this whole delivery platform w/quizes, supplimental stuff was well thought out. Am using the material trying to optimize a very social media heavy site CassClayton.com/dev (dev part disappears soon) and already see some greta improvement - hope the client is as pleased as I am. Big WARNING for anybody who reads this - some theme/plugin combos can make this process maddening, so remember to Manage your Caches and Flushing well!!! Also I probably could have avoided some headach by turning Development mode on in CloudFlare as that's where I got hung up. Well done, YO!

AJ presents this fairly technical subject in an easily digestible way. The videos are comprehensive, without going overboard, and deliver on what was promised in the headline. I've been programming software for more than 20 years, and AJ presented some server topics that we're completely new to me. This course is very well done, and provides results. Within 2 days of finishing the video, I was able to take a customers website from the 65th percentile in speed to the top 10th. And that's without sharding or CDNs. Kudos AJ - and thanks for sharing - but I'm keeping this new found knowledge away from my competitors.
