Threat Modeling using STRIDE masterclass - 2026 (Udemy.com)

The content and detail were amazing, but a copy of the slide deck for follow on review would make this a 5-star course. Our company realized some time ago that providing training without providing the slide decks to our staff was a pain point noted by all our teams. Once this was provided it allowed us to review at a later date.

I am learning threat modeling with my colleague as just started out so this is a great primer on the subject. Definitely recommend doing this in sequence with the case studies as this is a hands-on topic and not just what you read about

I liked the overview of threat model from app perspective and the GenAI bits. Nots sure how much threat modeling will be impacted by Agentic AI and the way it is evolving but this is a great course to get hands on with threat modeling if you are new to it

Great course. It helped me understand threat modeling and apply it via the examples. Going to try the threat modlein tool that was mentioned to see if it actually helps or not. The quiz questions are a bit too easy .. maybe make them harder

Great course. I am starting out in cloud security and threat modeling plays a major part of how we assess cloud worksloads so this was much appreciated. I am gong to try out the GenAI tool also that was mentioened

Great course. The recent addition of using GenAI for threat modeling is an interesting idea which I will try out for sure. I would recommend not skipping the case studies as they actually show you how to apply these concepts in action

The course is suitable for real beginners trust me, he taught everything in the terms of very high level overview of the basic examples not even basic below basic. so you have to learn more from google from official microsoft official docs for the stride methodology. this is all like u know the basic trust me

nice course. gives basics and good understanding on threat modelling. Its a good starter who is planning to implement and understand what threat modelling is. Could have been more better if atleast one basic threat model has been done from start to end using STRIDE methodology.

This is a good starter course but leaves out the process of actually applying on individual components and going into details of creating tables for what can go wrong. The instructor provides you some basic example of STRIDE risks but doesn’t go into a lot of details.

Guy seems to be in such a hurry to complete the course, he could do better. Also, the diagrams certainly are not accurate, trust boundaries identified does not reflect the correctness for a threat model. More ground work is necessary to provide a accurate review technique.
