Excellent course, engaging and knowledgeable teacher. Educational and well thought out. If this is your first course or you are not confident in the online course creation process, this course is for you. This course was created for Camtasia Studio 8, we are now in 2023, so some parts are dated. I can only advise the teacher to update this course. Nevertheless, many things in this course are still valid. I can recommend this course.

Great course! Some really great tips in this course. Not only how to use Camtasia, but the Udemy-specific stuff is really awesome. I think the greatest value of this course is the time it will save me. It would have taken me hours and hours of research to find all the stuff presented by Steve. Thanks Steve!

I am happy with the course. Steve promised just what he delivered. My expectations were well formed from the beginning - I took this as a minimum prerequisite to begin creating courses with Camtasia without appearing on camera. So that is exactly what I got. I liked Steve's "live" examples of editing and small tips on how to do it a lot. I would only advise Steve to show more versatile editing techniques in the last three videos: most of what he does there is just clipping unnecessary space. - Simple but not quite fully shows other things he teaches throughout thу course. Some of Steve's personal recommendations and preferences ("I do/ don't do this") sounded convincing - yes this may be his personal opinion but following it in the beginning will definitely save my time from unnecessary experiments. Ein sehr sympathischer Referent. Der Kurs ist gut strukturiert und sehr gut beschrieben. Leider Ist dann die Umsetzung etwas holprig. Für Mac User ist der Kurs weniger geeignet, da nur die Windows Version von Camtasia besprochen wird. Das sollte der Autor in der Einleitung erwähnen.

so far I am learning a lot. I have to admit I am confused about adding video and erasing certain parts (due to having two audio files) BUT...once I begin to actually do this I think it will make sense. But I am learning a ton and enjoying it too. that last video was very confusing. repairing videos. i think it would be great if there were exercises. I am seeing how to do it but not "actually" doing it and i don't learn that way. I have to DO it and I thought this course had exercises along the way. i'm still learning a lot but feeling a bit lost too.

This is exactly what I was looking for as a beginner for Camtasia. The lectures are concise, clear and consistent. The instructor is very responsive. I would definitely recommend this course for everyone who is just starting with Camtasia and planning to teach on Udemy.

For those of us who are looking for some passive income potentials this course is great in showing us how to use Camtasia. I lecture twice a month and am quite proficient with Camtasia already but Steve taught me some new tricks! Can't wait to get started with creating my own UDEMY lectures!!!

With this course I am now able to navigate through Camtasia. I learned a new skill set that I can now add to my resume' :-) the process to creating a Udemy course was made easy by Steve's explanation and walk through. Absolutely worth the money - I recommend this course.

I consider myself tech savvy and I purchased this software over a year ago to help me produce a video project related to some volunteer work I do. I used it a few times thereafter for projects related to either volunteer or work. I read the directions that came with the software, and I looked at the company's videos, but I always felt I was missing something and I hadn't unlocked all of the features of the software. So, I bought a book that was supposed to explain it. The book was comprehensive, but diagrams and text is not enough to put the pieces together. This course did just that for me. There is no substitute for actually watching someone use the features in real time. I finally feel as though I understand the software. I especially liked the sections that taught how to stitch and cut pieces and reposition them. I intuitively thought that feature would be there, but I didn't know how to find it. Actually seeing the instructor do it on the video was all I really needed. The section on improving audio was all new to me and sure enough, the ideas worked. The course was an education on two levels. First, it explained how to use the software and I appreciated that. Second, it was an example of a good course construction and production no matter what the topic. If all of the Udemy courses are that good I am here to stay.

Just after the first few lectures through this Course I have already solved a big problem I had with Camtasia using one of the lessons... I thought then that the course would be a great help to me... Now that I have finished it, I can say: it exceeded my expectations! I am not only impressed, motivated but equipped with 'the course know-how' to start creating my own Udemy first course.
