The UN Jobs Guide is a great way to furthering your online education, especially if you like looking into something more in-depth . The course should be taken by anybody who appreciates what a complex body the United Nations is and nevertheless want to learn about it. There are many courses available through this website but I think the guide is one of the best ones you could take. It's thoroughly organized by Sorin Dumitrascu - an excellent instructor who will make sure you're aware of all the information needed to pass!

The course, taught by Sorin Dumitrascu, offers a load of content and is structured in such a way that it's truly helpful for all types of students. It makes for a lovely complement to classroom studies as well as being ideal for people with full-time jobs who have limited time to commit. The United Nations Jobs Guide is definitely a course for people who want to increase their sector knowledge about tactical and strategic leadership. The trainer, Sorin Dumitrascu is organized and precise, taking time to make the concepts actionable in real life. It's true some of the information might get overwhelming if you’re not extremely dedicated to completing the entire lecture series but it's 100% worth it! This online course is (far) more interesting than most university courses I’ve taken.

The United Nations Jobs Guide course is a great way of learning online about a complex subject. This online course is highly recommended for people interested in effectively receiving new skills, this course guides you through the complexities of international job searching and breaks it down into easy-to-digest chunks of information so all their knowledge is covered in a clear manner. Useful advice on how to present your CV, experience and education within the various formats required across different countries worldwide but with a quick overview of is also provided. The assessments are useful as they serve as incentive to go deeper into each subtopic.

Yes, it was excellent for my UN Job Application. As a General Review, I would say the level of spoken English was sometimes hard to follow.
By Marta Kotonova on 10/23/2020
The course is not very helpful. There is nothing that is not already posted on the UN website (or some basic writing/presentation skills websites). Personally, I was hoping to learn more about the assessment style but unfortunately, I have not. Also, the music and irrelevant graphics within the slides are rather distracting. The labels with section titles often cover/overlap information presented on the slides. I have also noticed some typos in the presentation that give it a less professional image.

Useful information. It would be very helpful, however, if the instructor spoke louder since his voice is barely audible...

It's been a while since I've had an interview because I've been steadily employed, but I was looking to brush up on my skills. You never know when the time comes you'll need to be up-to-date on them. I found this course extremely useful and there are materials for students to go over in helping them flesh out how they would answer a variety of interview questions. The material is chunked into short segments and presented in an easy to understand format. The instructor has a pleasant personality.
