Overall, I really liked the course and found it helpful in building a stronger understanding of core risk management concepts. While some sections felt a bit dry and I don’t feel it fully prepared me for the RMP exam on its own, it still provided a solid foundation and clarified several important tools and techniques. I’m glad I completed it and see definite value in the material.

Updating my rating from 1 star to 4.5 stars. The course contains strong, valuable content, though much of it is buried beneath a heavy layer of fluff. It appears to be oriented primarily toward those new to project management or without a PMP. If you already hold a PMP, you can safely skip the first six sections and a few toward the end without missing anything of substance, almost 10 hours of redundant info.

This course is expounding more on what I have been practicing as a planning Engineer. I like the fact that this knowledge will not only be beneficial in my RMP preparation but also in my career advancement. I can continously refer to it as I implement my daily assignment. Thanks for the continued efforts in refining this study material.

This course by Sorin Dumitrascu is an excellent prep for the PMI-RMP certification! The content is well-structured, with clear explanations of risk management processes, helpful quizzes, and practical exercises that make the concepts stick. Highly recommended for anyone in project management.

The 40 hours could be resumed in at least a 25% of the time. The teacher is ok, because the examples are very general and lack depth. My only gripe is the absence of an agile term: adjusted risk backlog. It defines the way of tackling risk in adaptive enviroments. I am a PMP, ACP, PBA, Six Sigma Black Belt and ITIL strategic leader. (After reading the PMI RMP docs, the adjusted risk backlog is absent, so I increased the stars to four), it is covered in the ACP Certification, and I am also certified in ScrumStudy Expert Scrum Master. If I was giving this course. I would omit the software development examples for new applicationsor technologies, because the risk is so high, the just in time philosophy in extreme programming and other agile methods, discourages the risk planning phase, you only do a "light version" in iteration "zero". The mantra is to decide in the last responsible moment when you have the last minute information. In agile the risk avoiding cycle is covered in every iteration (and the "positive risk" is non existent (like a Black Swan). Kudos for your effort giving the courses!!!

Basically, the instructor just reads out PMBOK Guide 6th Edition Chapter 11 Project Risk Management. Instructor shall provide comprehensive notes, templates and examples for EMV, FMEA, etc. "SWOT example" given is not even an example, and it is just a cut and paste from textbook. Instructor shall put more effort to produce a useful note.

The Certificate Exam Prep course provided a solid foundation in risk and project management principles. The integration of SRM (Strategic Risk Management) with both PMBOK7 and PMBOK6 offered a comprehensive perspective balancing traditional frameworks with modern, value-driven approaches. The materials were clear and well-structured, helping reinforce key concepts essential for certification success. Overall, it was a rigorous and enriching learning experience.

I think it's a very good content that allows me to acquire knowledge of both project management and risk management. And, because English is not my native language, it also helps me study listening and reading in English.

I recently completed the PMI RMP Certificate Exam Prep course, and I must say, it was nothing short of amazing! The course was meticulously structured, offering a deep dive into the world of risk management that was both enlightening and engaging. The lectures were comprehensive, covering each topic with clarity and depth that made complex concepts easily understandable. What set this course apart was the practical application of theoretical knowledge. Each session was enriched with real-world examples and case studies that not only illustrated the material but also highlighted its relevance in the current project management landscape. The quizzes and assignments were thoughtfully designed to reinforce learning and stimulate critical thinking. The instructor’s expertise was evident throughout the course. They not only delivered the content effectively but also provided insightful answers to queries, making the learning experience very interactive. The additional resources and reading materials suggested were invaluable and greatly enhanced my understanding. This course has significantly improved my skills in risk management, and I am confident it has equipped me with the tools necessary to excel in my project management career. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to master risk management concepts and apply them effectively in their projects.

So, this course has some cool stuff and some not-so-cool stuff. (But in the end, the cool stuff outweighs the meh, hence the 5 stars.) The cool part is the teacher totally knows their stuff, like, expert-level vibes. Also, they really check out your assignments, which makes you feel like your work matters and the teacher actually gives a damn about their students. The only downside is that at some point, the course gets as boring as watching grass grow. Too much reading, too much audio – at one point, I was thinking I might as well have bought an audiobook. I reckon they could spice it up with more examples or use some more eye-catching colors. Just something to break the monotony. But overall, still worth it.
