This is a short, beginner-level Adobe XD course taught by Odin Fors and published through SkillSprints. It runs 4.3 hours across 15 lectures in three sections: an introduction, constructing prototypes, and professional design practice. The syllabus covers wireframing, type and color, components, repeat grids, transitions, icons with the pen tool, plugins, microinteractions and exporting. Requirements are light. No design or XD experience is needed, only a copy of the software. It suits people starting out in UX or UI, or anyone who needs XD for related work.

Reviewers are warm. Of 33 ratings, 20 are five stars and 12 are four, with a single three. They say Odin speaks clearly, does not rush, and introduces each tool, which one student noted many programs skip. Another finished the whole thing in a day at 1.5x speed. The complaints are small. One reviewer found the mouse hard to follow on screen, another says some videos run long, with one at 27 minutes, and a third says instructor replies to questions were slow.

The time cost is low, and a beginner can finish in a day. The catch is age and depth. The course was last updated in January 2021, so check it against the version of XD you install. Great content presentation and step by step guide.

First, this course is very interesting. The instructor speaks at a good pace and exercises are easy to follow. There is some testing I did on my own to get my work to match the exercises and a point or two wasn't quite clear. My one frustration was that it was hard to follow what he was doing on his screen because the mouse, to me, was hard to follow. But with repeated playback I could follow along. Also, I have not gotten prompt answers from the instructor. But, all in all, I have learned quite a bit from this course and would recommend it.

I put the speed to 1.5 and went through the whole course in a day. It's super helpful if you have no UX experience before. It teaches you in a very quick way about how UX works and train you to be able to make your own website or mobile prototype. Thank you!

Overall I really enjoyed this course and learnt lots. Good - Instructor does not rush and speaks clearly - Everything function of Adobe XD is covered well - Basic intro into UI and UX design Poor - Some videos are overly long. 27 minutes in one. That's way too long. Most of the longer videos had natural breaks in the recordings where they had been edited and could have been easily been shorter.

My peers at the uni used Adobe XD to get a 92% (high grade) on their Oral presentation for websites. I'm tired of coding things by hand or modifying templates. This course teaches me everything I need to make a functional website prototype. For 2021, I'll be able to use the learnt skills to awe my teammates with ease and finish my assignments faster. Yay!!
