Liron Yanconsky
I am a self-published author, art teacher and graphic designer based in Israel.
Being self-taught, I have been drawing ever since I was born. I have constantly worked on polishing my skills in art, and specifically in drawing.
As I enjoy writing as well, I have published 7 books so far, on a wide array of topics such as perspective drawing, folds and clothes, sketching techniques and drawing for kids.
My biggest strength is topics that require strong understanding and great visual perception.
My biggest goal is to prove that ANYONE can learn how to draw. My passions are art, writing, traveling and self-development.
I hope I can help you reach your goals, and perhaps learn something new in the process.

I'm so proud of the paintings I've made in this course. I've gone back a few times to recreate the landscapes to practice. The teacher is excellent at breaking down the steps to take, and there's just something about his artistic style that I really like and want to emulate.

I am really enjoying this and learning a lot. I appreciate that the teacher is continuously speaking to us about what he is doing and why he is doing it. It is very helpful to watch him demonstrate and explain how to control both pigment and water, something that is very difficult to balance and master.

I really enjoy Liron's YouTube videos and I love his own paintings. Although my results are nowhere as good as his, I do feel that I have learned a lot about watercolour and even drawing where I already felt that I was reasonably competent. Thanks Liron for the inspiration and I will look more more of your courses!

this was a good course. LiRon explained the steps to his drawing, painting and thinking very well. I learned a lot. My only complaint was the technology - at times the video stopped and started at random, and was difficult to move around in. this was frustrating.

In my view , this course is an excellent one for intermediate level artists.Learned a lot about foliage and mountains colour mixing which takes the painting to wow level. When i purchased it 2 years back as a beginner, I struggled with it. Thank you Liron for an amazing course.

I struggled with the first painting. However after several (9) tries I felt I achieved a little of what Liron was trying to impart. I learned quite a lot about implying distance via colors and scale. I also got a lot of practice doing skies and using washes. Very good exercise. I enjoy Liron’s approach to teaching — a very ‘let’s get to work and see what happens.’ Very good class so far. On to Swiss Cabin.

Sometimes it’s hard to understand the instructor and it would help if he for example is recommending a certain type of paint or paper etc. that he puts it on the screen so that we don’t have to guess how it spelled

Excellent Instructor and course. I love Instructors who paint entire paintings before our eyes so that we can see and understand the thought process, technique and the steps that go into each painting. The only regrets I have is that there weren't more demos. I couldn't get enough. For me this is exactly what I needed. Great course. Looking forward to see more from this instructor.

I really enjoyed to see how he tackles the three paintings. In my opinion, it is one of the most difficult things to do. Which details you put in, which you leave out. Lyron explains very well the process and his intentions and it has been an eye-openier for me. Thank you.
