Course Description

Hey there!

So you want to learn how to draw FOLDS and CLOTHES?

Well - you've come to the right place!

In this drawing course, I will take you by the hand and teach you how to draw folds and clothes, from the very first step, and until you are able to draw them on your own, from imagination or with the help of reference (I always advise using reference, as you'll see!).

In How to Draw Folds and Clothes you will learn:

  • The basics of cloth and folds
  • How to draw the seven major types of folds
  • How to draw a full clothed figure
  • How to draw cloth in motion

What really makes this course unique from ALL other resources on this subject, including books, websites, YouTube videos and other online courses, is that I actually show you how to draw all seven major types of folds separately, and how to put them together into a full clothed figure.

This is something I wish I had when I just began.

Here is some additional useful information about my course:

  • The heart of this course is VIDEOS, lots of them.
  • In addition to the videos, you'll also receive other resources such as images and text, all based on my published book on this subject, and my knowledge.
  • Also, you may ask me questions and I'll personally reply and provide assistance, because I want you to learn and succeed.

Bottom line: This is the course you want to take in order to learn how to draw folds and clothes.

Now c'mon! Let's begin this journey together!

This is the first lesson I have taken in Udemy, and I am pretty satisfied of the content I learned. It was a brief and informative course. Folds have been one of my major weaknesses and I happened to usually had to guess where I had to draw them. Learning about the principles is a complete game changer. It's making things easier for me to apply now. Thanks so much Sir Liron! Looking forward to learn more lessons from you.

This little course is a wonder. After working on anatomy, I turned my attention to clothing my characters and, though relatively short, this course game me all the tools I needed to make clothes and drapery look realistic. The rules are simple and effective and solved most of the issues I had making my figures look realistic when clothed. Excellent and well worth the investment.

It was a revelation, seeing colth folds now in a different way. The teacher is very clear and comfortable to work with.

The content in this course has helped me to make my character drawings have more of a realistic and 3-dimensional look. I liked the instructor's teaching style.

This meshes well with other courses I have taken, and I opted for this one because I just was't pleased with the way I was drawing folds. I can already see that this course is going to help immensely. Thank you

poderia ser melhor.. muito vago o curso até agora, possui dicas interessantes mas ao mesmo tempo tem muitos pontos vagos.

There was course materials that kept being referred to that wasn’t available to download.

The instructor has very clear knowledge about cloth and folds. However, I think the course was a bit short overall, and more examples could have been given in the clothed figure section. Also, the "extra materials" he often refers to don't seem to be present.

I loved this course, the teacher is so nice and explains everything in a way it is easy to catch

This is a very informative and well taught course about a sometimes under-emphasized yet important topic in drawing and illustration. Accuracy in drawing various types of folds in material of all sorts is paramount in creating believable drawings. If done right, I believe the discipline will cover a multitude of other discrepancies. If done wrong, you'll quickly lose the eye of the beholder, and cheat yourself out of becoming the best artist you can be. This brief course gets right to the point. I highly recommend it to anyone that desires to overcome this bugaboo in their artwork.
