Great example of topic. Steve explains and shows how to avoid symmetry when working with nature. Worth the time.

This was one of the early watercolor courses I signed up for. In particular I hoped to learn how to paint "trees in the snow". Wow, what was I thinking, no experience with paint values, hue, mixing etc. nor types of brush strokes let lone how to draw. Now almost a year later and lots and lots of practice with the above mentioned skills this course makes much more sense. I actually was "able to really understand"and apply the instruction offered in his demonstration. Very, helpful now, months later!! Instructor seems to be a pretty realistic person given his method of instruction. This is simply feedback to help other students along the way that may be in the same predicament, unreasonable expectations of self and teacher!! Hopefully it offers the instructor some helpful hints too, thank you.

I've taken instructor-led classes in the past and haven't gotten as much out of them as I did from this course. Very nice.
I appreciated the way Mr. Curl simply explained and demonstrated his techniques. I'm looking forward to using this information.

I could watch Steve paint all day. His voice is relaxing and he is very informative, explaining everything clearly and concisely.
My only niggle was the low resolution video.
