Course Description

My main goal is to help you understand and master Webpack, particularly its latest version Webpack 5! This course was specifically designed for those who want to learn Webpack from scratch, and for those who are already working with Webpack, but don't fully understand how it works.

In this course we will build fully functional, production ready Webpack configuration from scratch. We will start from the very simple things and then gradually move towards more advanced topics. Each lesson builds on top of the previous ones, so it is easy to follow.

After this course you will definitely be able to use Webpack in your projects. You will be able to create your own Webpack configurations and improve existing ones. We will also cover using NPM and Babel in this course in order to use the latest JavaScript technologies. If you worked on a project with Webpack, but never touched the configuration, after this course you will be able to touch it, and even improve it :)

I am constantly updating this course, so you can always be sure that it is up-to-date and covers the latest features of Webpack.

If you have any questions regarding Webpack, feel free to post them in the Q&A section. Many people have already found answers to their questions there, and I will do my best to help you with your questions as well.

Most React and Angular boilerplates come with Webpack included, and most people are afraid to touch its default configuration. I strongly believe that you should not be scared of it. You should master it!

This is a brilliant course to get into webpack. It begins very simply and builds up, while still remaining pretty simple. I would recommend this to anyone - I can understand my webpack config at work now and take ownership of it. My only gripe is that there is a lot of waiting around, when the teacher installs packages or what not. I normally just played this at 1.5x speed and it was fine.

Some courses do not include captions or subtitles. There is a lack of in-depth and detailed explanations about certain configurations. The course does not explain why, how, or in which situations these configurations work—only pre-prepared options are provided. This course serves as a basic introduction to Webpack rather than an in-depth or advanced-level guide. The instructor’s accent was difficult to understand, and the captions and subtitles contained many errors, making them unreliable for following along. The tutorial is quite outdated, and many changes have been made to Webpack since its release.

A top notch course with in-depth and detailed explanations on every topic related to Git and GitHub, including all the necessary commands and operations. I like the idea of 100 branches and you shouldn't touch the main one. Seriously, don't play with the main branch. All right, I forgot the course was about Webpack 5 which has been destroyed by Vite which uses Rollup but the branches are still there on the GitHub repo. LOL.

I took the course because I needed to learn how to create page routes without a major front-end framework. I needed help because the webpack documentation didn't understand it very well. I was able to learn what I needed and other related knowledge. The course was well paced and the code works well. I recommend it.

This course is excellent. Very concise and well-prepared. In addition, the instructor gives the response to the students promptly when they ask the questions . Ideally, I would be grateful if he could explain in a little more explanation for each topic. However, generally, I highly appreciate this course and want to recommend to those who are starting with studying webpack.

The teacher is very knowledgeable and clear. He also answers questions making the course interactive, this is an added value. Some things have been treated superficially or not in depth, but maybe by digging into the questions of other students or on your own you can do it independently, after all it is a course for beginners. And I did so. And you can deepen other aspects in the other course of the same teacher. Overall I recommend it to those starting from scratch with webpack (css, html and javascript are mandatory prerequisites)

Overall, I think this is a webpack course that can give most a good foundation on the topic. However, for me, it was very difficult to decipher through the author's heavy accent and I unfortunately have to subtract for that. Many times (too often) it was very difficult to follow and I was forced to double and triple back. My recommendation would be for the author to provide notes and bullet points. Overall, I appreciate the course and I learned a thing or two. Thanks, Viktor.

Great Material and awesome instructor. Would've given five stars, but at the moment Module Federation section cannot be completed at this point (Versions of webpack with module federation are currently at v4). I would highly recommend this for anyone who's beginning to use webpack 5. Editing my review: Instructor continues to update course material

This is the course I wish I had when I first started learning Webpack. I had seen Webpack in use, but was having difficulty setting it up for my own projects. Looking around for a tutorial I found most to either be outdated or they tried to teach you everything there is to know which just ended up being confusing. Victor has designed a great course that takes you from the basics of setting up a configuration file, with simple loaders and plugins to techniques such as single and multiple page builds, prod vs dev configurations and the use of more advanced and popular plugins. The course is not comprehensive. It is informative. It is also not a beginner programming course. You don't need to be an expert but you should know the basics of html, css and javascript and how they are used both in the browser and on the back end. He also makes extensive use of Github in an innovative way so you should be familiar with that as well. Victor assumes knowledge of these skills and moves quickly. I've taken quite a few Udemy courses and this is one of the better ones.

Really synthesized and straight to the point. No unnecessary explanations or explaining the same thing twice (like other popular teachers do on udemy). A bit fast at times but this should not be a concern because we can always pause the video (or go back a bit). All in all a great course and I highly recommend it.
